Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Summoning's song "Mirdautas Vras" tell the story of a battle in Middle-earth. The first verse describes the Orcs preparing for battle with their weapons ("taurzur"), shouting battle cries ("ufum dhurum"), and marching towards their enemy's stronghold ("Tor Vautu brus-troguz"). The second verse describes the Elves and their battle tactics, using archery ("Nauru-ir") and fierce beasts ("kragoru nûrsu grishûrz") to defeat their enemies. The third verse introduces the Nazgul, the ring wraiths who serve Sauron, and their role in the battle. The chorus repeats the phrase "Mirdautas vras" which means "The killing of the immortal" in the language of Middle-earth. The final line of the song mentions Manwe, the chief of the Valar, who is said to have power over the winds and the sky.

Dark have been my dreams of late
Brus-kuluz taurzur bûrzu tiil-ob
Of secret doubt and secret fear
Hush-ob dhurum agh ufum dhurum

A thousand years have passed away
Tor Vautu brus-troguz
To lay down doom and terror
Urgai-u gukh dûmp agh tiimor

To north ride on, a thousand orcs
Talaan-u rûk-ir tor urûk
On wolves with giant bloody fangs
Nauru-ir agh kragoru nûrsu grishûrz
They take the storm and power
Nork-ulu furtun agh goth
Of Mordor through the world
Mordor-ob bot-tuk

They hold up high my ragged bannners
Fiith-sûr-ulu taar hluthu zholugaz
Still victory is not at hand
Dâl shosvart zulukh naakh-shi
I shall fail no longer
Szaug-izg zaug narkû
Middleearth – My land!
Zôrt Ghaamp – Uzg-izub

Fire and Ice, the Nazgûl fly
Ghaash agh akûl – Nazgûl skoiz
It is a good day to kill!
Mirdautas vras!
(Painted) red is Earth and sky
Karn ghaamp agh nût
Even Manwe will bow down
Shaut Manwe quiinubat gukh

When last the day arrives,
Amukh lozudurkh skaat-dôgh aarsh
where Morgoths Hammer smashes down
Amal barâsh gukh Morgoth drâgh
on the age of elves and day of man
Kû-ir golug-ob agh aarsh shara-ob
At the return of darkness and evil
Skaat-krût-shi bûrzum-ob agh ulkum

This music is amazing! The Black Speech is so raw and with the drums the music become a dark masterpiece.

@majorblood87

this is possibly the heaviest black metal I've heard in a very long time, who would have thought that black speech would be perfect for black metal. I'm gonna go read all the books again, starting with the silmarillion.

Actually the text would go on:

Even Manwe will bow down
When last the day arrives,
where Morgoths Hammer smashes down
on the age of elves and day of man
At the return of darkness and evil
