"I am most in my element when my hands are on the keys," says 20-year-old Tulsa native. After receiving critical acclaim in her home state, Sunday Lane decided to pursue the only career path that made sense... music. She is currently attending the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Sunday has been playing some of the most sought after venues in Los Angeles and winning over new fans nationwide.
Her debut EP, Bring Me Sunshine, displays her ability to write relatable songs with idiosyncratic phrases. With a new music video for her song "Won't Go Back Down" and her EP available on iTunes, sunshine is definitely in Sunday Lane's future.

Want You Back
Sunday Lane Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The morning air makes you cold
Till your coffee's done
And I was wrong
Was wrong...
I thought the empty in my chest
Would be gone if you left
I was wrong
You're a heart attack
But I gave my best
Now I want you back
You're a heart attack
But I hate the rest of 'em
I want you back
And I want you back
I miss the way you looked at me
Like I'm the best thing that you've seen
When you're day was bad
I could make you laugh
I'd make you laugh
I took the clock and turned it back
Like four years hadn't passed
And you weren't gone
I told you I was wrong
I was wrong
You're a heart attack
But I gave my best
And I want you back
You're a heart attack
But I hate the rest of 'em
I want you back
And I want you back
I want you back
In "Want You Back", Sunday Lane is expressing longing for a past lover. The opening lines set the scene of the lover being alone and cold in the morning air until their coffee is ready. The singer thinks she would feel better if the lover was gone, but after they've left, she realizes she was wrong. The emptiness in her chest doesn't go away, and she misses the lover's presence.
The chorus reveals the lover has a hold on her like a "heart attack." The singer gave her all in the relationship, but now she wants the lover back despite the pain they've caused. She hates all others and only wants the one she lost. The third verse reminisces about how the lover used to look at her like she was the best thing they'd ever seen. Even in difficult times, the singer was able to make the lover laugh. The final lines reveal that the singer has turned back time (mentally) in an attempt to fix things, but she knows she was wrong to let the lover go.

Why was this song and others removed from the album on iTunes? Her music from this album isn't even on Spotify. I want this album on my phone, but I can't find this song or entire album on iTunes. I regret not buying the album 4 years ago when I found out about Sunday Lane. She has a beautiful voice!
