Superchick got their first break opening for Audio Adrenaline in 1999.

In 2000, the band self-released their first album, Karaoke Superstars, which was later re-released once they were signed to Inpop Records. Having had songs appear in Legally Blonde, Cadet Kelly and on several television shows including the Real World and the X-Games, Superchick is one of the most played garage bands.

The band's line-up has changed over the years. In the beginning, there were eight members, including crew. Members credited for Karaoke Superstars were sisters Tricia [lead vocals] and Melissa [guitar, vocals] Brock, brothers Matt [bass] and Ben [drums] Dally, Dave [lead guitar, keys] Ghazarian, Andrew [percussion] Vegas, Dan [lighting, pyro] Larson, and Max [keys, guitar, turntables] Hsu.

With the release of their second album, Last One Picked, the line-up listed Tricia, Melissa, Matt, and Max with the addition of Justin [lead guitar] Sharbaro and Brian [drums] Fitch. Their remix album, Regeneration, marked the return of Dave, with Tricia, Melissa, Matt, and Max returning. The release of Beauty from Pain brought with it the band's current incarnation with the addition of Brandon Estelle on drums. Recently, Clayton [drums] Hunt, formerly of Christian rock band Dizmas, joined the group in replacement of Brandon.

After releasing four albums through Inpop, Superchick signed a deal with Columbia Records to re-release "Beauty from Pain" through the larger label.

Even though the band is no longer around, their songs will always continue to be the driving force of my life. They're such a huge inspiration and have impacted my life in a way no other band or song ever have. Superchick gave me hope in my darkest days and they've given me the strength to stand tall and strong against anything that can or will ever come my way.
I can't even begin to express the gratitude I have for them and their music, they taught me to live, to love, to laugh and to never back down even when it seems that the odds are all against me.

same here =( Their style/message grew up with me, but yes, Max released a statement that the members are all going their own way. This material (Mr DJ, This Is the Time, Sunshine, Hope, and Five Minutes at a Time) is all of the new content that will be included on the Recollecion album. The album is a farewell to the fans, and the rest of the tracks are selections from previous albums. There's also a DVD of music vids and a making of, I believe. I'll miss them terribly.

Hello Everyone. I saw a lot of people thinking that Superchick split up. Well, that's not really what happened. What actually happened is one of the members died of cancer. He was a very good friend of Tricia Brock. Tricia is the lead singer. She is now singing on her own. I met Tricia, a wonderful and pleasant woman.

This is a great rendition of this song as well. This was a remake of a very old DC Talk song, I think it was them, that version was well done too.

Huh? What? That's funny... For a second, I thought the views were only at about 18,000. But that's impossible. Because amazing songs like this are WAAYYYY more popular than the songs of someone like Iggy Azalea. Right?

Oh, wait. Never mind. The views are at about 18,000. Huh. Seems a tad bit odd to me, considering this is the official video. And, you know? It really does make me sad. Please listen to the song. It really is meant for everybody. It doesn't matter if you only listen to death metal or country, hip-hop, rap, pop, or rock. If I was to classify this song into a genre, I'd choose "inspirational."
