Overall Meaning

"Touch-A Touch-A Touch Me" is a musical number from the popular rock musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The story is a parody of science-fiction and horror movies from the 1950s to early 1970s, following two naïve s who find themselves stranded at a bizarre mansion. Sung by the character of Janet Weiss in a seductive, breathless voice, the lyrics tell of her sexual awakening and desire to explore her sexuality. In the opening lines, Janet admits to being inexperienced in sexual matters and afraid of engaging in them out of fear of getting into "trouble and seat-wetting."
