The lyrics to Sven-Ingvars's song "Marie, Marie" describe the singer's intense desire for Marie and his inability to be without her. The song begins with the arrival of a cold wind, which beckons him to reach out his hand. This is followed by an intense feeling of passion and longing, causing the singer to fall into his own world. He repeatedly calls out for Marie to disturb him, touch him, and make his senses come alive. The lyrics suggest that they spend their time together drinking wine, rolling around on dirty floors, and exploring the countryside at night. The singer seems to have an intense fear of not being with Marie, suggesting that he would rather hold his breath underwater for a long time than to be without her for even one second.
The song's lyrics portray a sense of yearning and longing for the singer's love interest, Marie. It's a rendition of a classic love song, with a romantic feel combined with raw passion. The poetic nature of the lyrics makes it a beautiful and evocative song. The lyrics also touch on the idea of living in the moment and enjoying life to the fullest, which comes through in lines like "we drink wine in a silk bed, and play in the sun on a summer meadow". Overall, the song tells the tale of a passionate and intense love affair, one that borders on obsession.

Det kom en vind, till vinterland
