My aunt requested this for her funeral. We had to bury her on Jan 2nd..
She always had birds in her garden and went walking in the woods with her dogs till she couldn't anymore. This piece of music was perfect. Hearing it again makes me cry because it's so beautiful ♥

This brings back memories of my Father. When he bought this single (45rpm record) back in 1986, he played it so much he drove my Mother up the wall with it. As soon as the song finished, he'd play it again, and again, and again! Whilst my Mother was sick of hearing it, I loved it! It's one of the very few tunes that brings a "happy" memory back to me from my younger days.

@Stephen Brown - hehe...yup, going by the rest of the comments, where it was dads and mums and aunts that bought it back in the day, it does appear to be an old farts favourite and it doesn't appear to be for the young folk of that generation, 'cos there's no ''banging beat'', no screeaming into the mic etc. It's too mellow and flower/hippy like.

But, it was a massive musical change from what was in the charts/top 40 back then (all modern noise with Punks and the Age of the New Romantics), so I think that's why a lot of older folk at the time liked it. ATB. Dogue
