Although the project released four singles in the mid '90s, with initial singers Kimberley Kearney and Dacia Bridges, worldwide success came with third vocalist, Tina Harris. Everything's Gonna Be Alright was released in 1997, which topped charts around the world and started a musical theme, sampling classical music, which the project would later become known for.
Tina Harris left after two years, with Jade Villalon replacing her as the fourth vocalist with five original albums, all reaching Gold or Platinum in Korea. Villalon, along with "Geo" left the project after seven years to go on and do other projects.
Vocalist Jamie Pineda took the role as new vocalist shortly after in late 2007 and then releasing her first studio album The Next Generation in 2009, which was produced by Derek Bramble. Pineda released one more album, Diamond Veil in 2011 and it was released in Japan and Korea, as the 8th studio album from Sweetbox.
In 2013, famed Japanese singer Miho Fukuhara became the new frontwoman and for the first time in the projects history, male vocalist/rapper LogiQ Pryce would co-front the project with her. The studio album, titled #Zeitgeist21 is due for release in July 2013.

I believe in the human spirit
And I believe that all our Gods can hear us
I believe we all are good
And we'd be better if we could
Chorus:
God on video
Wisdom in a show
In order to believe
We need to see it on TV or video
Wisdom in a show
In order to believe
We need to see it on TV or video
Verse 2:
Yeah I believe in a mothers strength
And I believe that fathers shouldn't leave
And I think we all should listen more
And that love is the only door
*repeat chorus*
Verse 3:
Every mind needs a dream
Like every song needs a theme
Cause life's a fight (life's a fight)
But we weren't born to cry (born to cry)
We were born to try (born to try and try and try)
And try and try and try
God on video, wisdom in a show, in order to believe
Do you need to see it on TV
*repeat chorus*
Oh...nah nah nah nah nah nah...
God on God on (God on video)
Oh wisdom in a show
In order to believe (to believe)
We need to see it on TV or video

The songwriter expresses their belief that all gods can hear us and that everyone has inherent goodness within them. It hints at how modern society often relies on screens and media to validate beliefs or experiences.
In the second verse, the songwriter continues to emphasize the importance of family and relationships. They believe in the strength of a mother's love and the importance of fathers staying involved in their children's lives. Additionally, they advocate for the need for people to listen more and embrace love as the key to open doors in life.
The third verse highlights the significance of having dreams and themes in life, comparing them to the mind and the theme of a song. The lyrics suggest that life is a continuous struggle, but we are not meant to succumb to sadness. Instead, we were born to persistently try and pursue our dreams. The repetition of the phrase "try and try and try" emphasizes the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity.
