Although the project released four singles in the mid '90s, with initial singers Kimberley Kearney and Dacia Bridges, worldwide success came with third vocalist, Tina Harris. Everything's Gonna Be Alright was released in 1997, which topped charts around the world and started a musical theme, sampling classical music, which the project would later become known for.
Tina Harris left after two years, with Jade Villalon replacing her as the fourth vocalist with five original albums, all reaching Gold or Platinum in Korea. Villalon, along with "Geo" left the project after seven years to go on and do other projects.
Vocalist Jamie Pineda took the role as new vocalist shortly after in late 2007 and then releasing her first studio album The Next Generation in 2009, which was produced by Derek Bramble. Pineda released one more album, Diamond Veil in 2011 and it was released in Japan and Korea, as the 8th studio album from Sweetbox.
In 2013, famed Japanese singer Miho Fukuhara became the new frontwoman and for the first time in the projects history, male vocalist/rapper LogiQ Pryce would co-front the project with her. The studio album, titled #Zeitgeist21 is due for release in July 2013.

Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Where's Utopia?
Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Where's Utopia?
Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Praying for something to carry me through
Waiting for the day when I know what to do
Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Hoping and hoping for a ray of light
Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Hmm, can't you, won't you deliver me?
Utopia
I wanna go with you to Utopia
I wanna follow you to Utopia
Oh, won't you take me there, please?
(I wanna go with you to find Utopia) I wanna go with you
Where's Utopia?
Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Where's Utopia?
Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Holding on to nothing but a tired dream
Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Trying to find out who I need to be
Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Hoping that God will give me a sign
Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Can't you, won't you deliver me?
Utopia
I wanna go with you to Utopia
I wanna follow you to Utopia
Oh, won't you take me there, please?
(I wanna go with you to find Utopia) I wanna go with you
A girl walked by me today
And I saw my soul inside her eyes
I saw her anger, her fear, her loss
Underneath my same disguise
Staring at my reflection finally made me see
I've been looking everywhere for myself
Except inside of me
No more longing, babe
Oh, I need to go to Utopia, yeah
Utopia
I wanna go with you to Utopia
I wanna follow you to Utopia (yeah)
Oh, won't you take me there, please?
(I wanna go with you to find Utopia) I wanna go with you
Where's Utopia?
Da-da-da, dam, da-da-da-da-da-da
Where's Utopia?
(Where's Utopia?)
The song Utopia by Sweetbox is a powerful ballad about the struggles of finding one's place in the world. The lyrics are about the search for something to believe in, something to guide and carry the singer through life. In the first verse, the singer is waiting for a sign or a ray of light to show them the way. The chorus then introduces the concept of Utopia as a place of peace and serenity, where the singer hopes to find the answers they seek. The second verse continues the theme of searching, with the singer holding onto nothing but a tired dream and hoping for a divine sign.
The bridge of the song offers a moment of reflection, with the singer realizing that the answers were inside them all along. They saw their soul in another person's eyes and realized they had been searching for themselves everywhere except within. This realization fuels the chorus's final repetition, with the singer now knowing that Utopia is within their grasp if they follow their own true path.
The song is a beautiful representation of the human experience, with themes of searching, desperation, and self-discovery interwoven throughout. The repetition of the chorus creates a powerful and uplifting feeling of hope and possibility, offering a message of encouragement to listeners struggling with their own inner journey.
