Although the project released four singles in the mid '90s, with initial singers Kimberley Kearney and Dacia Bridges, worldwide success came with third vocalist, Tina Harris. Everything's Gonna Be Alright was released in 1997, which topped charts around the world and started a musical theme, sampling classical music, which the project would later become known for.
Tina Harris left after two years, with Jade Villalon replacing her as the fourth vocalist with five original albums, all reaching Gold or Platinum in Korea. Villalon, along with "Geo" left the project after seven years to go on and do other projects.
Vocalist Jamie Pineda took the role as new vocalist shortly after in late 2007 and then releasing her first studio album The Next Generation in 2009, which was produced by Derek Bramble. Pineda released one more album, Diamond Veil in 2011 and it was released in Japan and Korea, as the 8th studio album from Sweetbox.
In 2013, famed Japanese singer Miho Fukuhara became the new frontwoman and for the first time in the projects history, male vocalist/rapper LogiQ Pryce would co-front the project with her. The studio album, titled #Zeitgeist21 is due for release in July 2013.

Don't be afraid to cry
It wasn't wasted time
We just couldn't win that fight
And I knew you couldn't stay
You had to go your way
There's really nothing left to say
But every now and then you cross my mind
(Chorus)
But I miss you
'Cause I really miss you
There's no going back 'cause what's done is done
But I miss you 'cause I really miss you
But sometimes love just ain't enough
(Verse 2)
Hey
We didn't write the rules
It wasn't me wasn't you
We both know that life is cruel
I know we can't go down that road again
And it hurts too much to think what might have been
(Repeat Chorus)
(C Part)
I know we can't escape from the paths that we have chosen
But every now and then, I'm reminded
I know we can't go down that road again
And it hurts too much to think what might have been
(Repeat Chorus)
The song "Miss You" by Sweetbox is a heartfelt ballad about a love that just couldn't work out. The first verse acknowledges the hurt and sadness that comes with a breakup, but also acknowledges that it was simply a fight they couldn't win. The singer knows deep down that her love had to go his own way, and she's left with memories of him that still cross her mind. However, she also tries not to dwell on where he is or what he's doing, because it only makes the pain worse.
The chorus of the song emphasizes just how much the singer misses her love even though she knows there's no going back. She really misses him, but she knows that they can't undo what's already been done. The second verse touches on the fact that life is cruel and unpredictable, and even though they both knew it, they couldn't avoid the painful situation they found themselves in. The repetition of the chorus drives home the seemingly hopeless situation the singer is in, left only with regrets and heartache.
Even though the song is about heartbreak, it's clear that the singer still has deep feelings for the one she can't have. She's reminded of him every once in a while, and it's clear that the love they shared meant something to her. The song is a moving tribute to the kind of love that's hard to let go and even harder to forget.
