One of my all-time favorite hip-hop songs. It is one of the songs that made listen to hip-hop. Almost 10 years it's still what I listen to the most, and this song still bangs.

Never forget the first time I heard this song and realized Swollen Members were the exclusive feature for the NBA Live 2002 soundtrack. Miss these days. Such a great time to be a young teenager. Dope music, major advances in video gaming, functioning government and safe country...

@ice788

They pronounce every word properly like 90% of the time, crisp,tight and clean. That's what makes good songs.

True story. One night back in 2001 my friend and I were sitting in my apartment in San Francisco listening to this at about 9 o'clock at night. Shortly after listening to it we decided to head out and get a bite to eat. Just as we were walking up a street about two blocks from my place we passed these two guys on the sidewalk. I looked back just as we had passed them and it was Prevail and Mad Child from Swollen Members. I totally recognized them from a picture I'd seen of them. We stopped and introduced ourselves and had a chat with them. If I remember correctly they had played a show the night before and were hanging out for a few days. Weird coincidence.

Wow. That is a dope story. I still remember me and my friend giving the X-ecutioners suggestions as to what to do in the city before a show. RIP Raida.
