However, it was when she signed with the music UK producers Stock Aitken Waterman on label PWL, that Sybil had the biggest success, and was particularly popular in the UK. She had two massive hit in 1993: The first, a West End production of "The Love I Lost", originally a hit for Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes, and the second, "When I'm Good And Ready", an original song written by Mike Stock and Pete Waterman after Matt Aitken had left the company.
Her most successful album was also released that year: "Good n Ready". The same year, her US album Doin' It Now was released.

When, when I, when, when I'm good and ready
When I, when, when I
When, when I, when, when I'm good and ready
When I, when, when I
When, when I, when, when I'm good and ready
When I, when, when I
When, when I, when, when I'm good and ready
You come back in my life
Singing the same old tune
You can say what you like oh oh oh
But I'm not listening to you
You can't hurry my love or change my mind
I'll decide in my own sweet time
Could be a week, may take two
I'll be coming back
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
I'll tell you when I'll give my love to ya
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
When I'm good and ready
Who do you think you are
To put this pressure on me
You can push me to far, oh oh oh
I can't see the wood for the trees
You're asking me to share your bed
But I ain't sure If I'm ready yet
Could be a week, may take two
I'll be coming back
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
I'll tell you when I'll give my love to ya
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
When I'm good and ready
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
I'll tell you the time
And not one minute sooner
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
When I'm good and ready
When I, when, when I
When, when I, when, when I'm good and ready
When I, when, when I
When, when I, when, when I'm good and ready
You can't hurry my love or change my mind
I'll decide in my own sweet time
Could be a week, may take two
I'll be coming back
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
I'll tell you when I'll give my love to ya
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
When I'm good and ready
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
I'll tell you the time
And not one minute sooner
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
When I'm good and ready
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
I'll tell you when I'll give my love to ya
When I'm, when I'm good and ready
When I'm good and ready
(When I'm, when I'm good and ready)
The song "When I'm Good and Ready" is a declaration of independence and assertion of control over one's own life and autonomy. The lyrics describe a relationship in which a former lover has returned, attempting to rekindle the romance and exert control over the singer's life. However, the singer is firm in her assertion that she will decide when she is ready to give her heart to someone. The repeated refrain "when I'm good and ready" emphasizes the singer's autonomy and decision-making power, and the repetition of the phrase in the chorus makes it clear that the singer will not be rushed or pressured into making a decision before she is ready.
The lyrics also convey a sense of frustration on the part of the singer with the former lover's persistent attempts to control or influence her. Lines such as "Who do you think you are / To put this pressure on me" and "You can say what you like oh oh oh / But I'm not listening to you" suggest that the singer is fed up with the other person's behavior and is determined to establish boundaries and take control of her own life. The implication is that the singer has learned from past experiences and is no longer willing to be manipulated or coerced into making decisions she is not comfortable with.
Overall, "When I'm Good and Ready" is a powerful statement of self-determination and boundary-setting. The lyrics convey a sense of strength and independence, as well as a clear message that the singer will not be swayed or pressured by the demands of others.
