A voir passer le temps
Ma vie des beaux étés
Et des foutus printemps
Ma vie, ma vie laissée
A deux ou trois amants
Ma vie, ma vie lissée
Comme les pages d'un roman
Sensible, sensible
Sensible, sensible
Sensible
These lyrics are from the song "Sensible" by Sylvie Vartan. The song is about the struggles and vulnerabilities that come with living a life that has been filled with love, heartbreaks, and public scrutiny. The song describes a life that has been lived to the fullest, but also one that has had to overcome many obstacles.
The lyrics describe a life that has been marked by the passage of time, the changing of the seasons, and the presence of various lovers. However, the emotions that are being felt are not as free-flowing as the events that are described. The word "sensible" is repeated throughout the song, which can be interpreted as a shorthand for the singer's sensitivity to the world around her.
There is a sense of fragility and sensitivity that permeates these lyrics. The repeated use of the word "sensible" suggests that the singer is not only sensitive to her own past experiences but is also attuned to the emotions of others. This heightened sensitivity can be both a blessing and a curse, as it allows her a deeper connection to the world but also makes her more vulnerable to the pain and heartache that can come with living.
