The New Jersey based duo began producing in 2010 and garnered several notable accomplishments, having played shows with Above and Beyond, Mt. Eden, Koan Sound, Gemini, and Paper Diamond. Their first release, Lights Out entered at #12 on Beatport and remained in the top 100 for several weeks. The brothers are not confined to any one genre and have worked to combine new dubstep and complextro sounds with more traditional progressive house elements.

And leave nothing behind
And we built it all,
But they claim that they own what they find
They pretend like they're
The only ones out there
They want you to give
Yeah
To say with your own voice
For whoever vanishes
Go on, we can't help ourselves, we're only human
We're stuck with the same melody in different tuning
Go on, we can't help ourselves, we're only human
We're stuck with the same melody, same melody, same melody...
The same melody
The same melody
They want to kiss all you,
They want to keep you down,
They act like they know you,
When you're not around
Stay above it, if you can,
Look past their story,
Listen to yourself,
Before it's too late
Go on, we can't help ourselves, we're only human
We're stuck with the same melody in different tuning
Go on, we can't help ourselves, we're only human
We're stuck with the same melody, same melody, same melody...
The same melody
The lyrics in Synchronice's song "Human" convey a message about the struggles that humans face with ownership and identity. The opening lines, "They take it all and leave nothing behind, and we built it all, but they claim that they own what they find," suggest that humans build and contribute to society, but ultimately others take credit for it. The next lines, "They pretend like they're the only ones out there, they want you to give, yeah," suggest that those in power want to maintain control and exploit others. However, the chorus maintains hope that despite these struggles, humans are "only human" and must learn to be true to themselves and not be controlled by others.
The second stanza continues with this theme of personal agency and the importance of being true to oneself. The line, "They want to kiss all you, they want to keep you down," suggests that those in power want to manipulate and limit others. However, the song encourages listeners to "Stay above it, if you can, look past their story, listen to yourself, before it's too late." Ultimately, the song is a call to action for individuals to be true to themselves and resist the pressures and control of others.
