Synthion has been classically trained since childhood, but began producing electronic music at age 13. The release of in December 2017 came to define Synthion’s signature “love-core” sound, combining the energetic sound of UK Hardcore and the modern sound of Future Bass. Since then, she has seen success through collaborating with Hyper Potions & MYLK for "Hyper Potions"; performing at Anime Expo 2019’s AX Dance; further defining her sound through her own vocals on her 2nd EP, “Fairy Tale”; as well as being recognized by Porter Robinson for her bootleg remix of "Musician".

I've honestly had this song on repeat after getting around to listening to it and I honestly have soooooooooo much love for this one!!!!!! The amount of emotions put into this are overflowing and all the subtle little details in here are so pretty.
Starting off you have the atmosphere with the chords playing and that ambient reverb fx in the back. AHHHH, BUT IT REALLY TRANSITIONS SUPER WELL WITH THE MAIN IDEA. THEN THE DRUMS COME IN TO really bring the groove/drive into the song and up the energy. ALSO LIKEEEEE THE LITTLE PIANO LINE FILLS LIKE AT 0:20, ARE SOOOOOOOO GORGEOUS. They really add that flavor to transition to each section of the song and really captures that "gorgeous night sky" sound which Aurora portrays. THENNNNN LIKE, THE VOCALS COME IN AHHHHHHHHHHHH. HONESTLYYY, LIKE I LOVE THE VOCALS SO MUCH AND THEY BLEND WITH EVERYTHING IN HERE SO WELL. ALONG WITH THAT THE LYRICS REALLY GET ME WITH THE EMOTIONS AND ALSO WITH HOW IT FITS ALONG WITH THE THEME OF THIS SONG. HONESTLYYYY, I'm super looking forward to the rest of the songs on this EP as how in this one you were able to capture the moment of discovering something so beautiful, that makes you so awestruck and takes you away from reality just a little bit to remind you that in that moment there is that warmth which tells you you'll be alright.
Everything in this song is super catchy and honestly this is one that I can listen to over and over again. THIS WAS SUCH A PERFECTTTTTTTT choice to tease as a song for the whole EP. IT HAS YOUR FUN STYLE TO IT, IT HAS THAT ENERGY, THE EMOTION, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MELODY THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD. Honestly I really adore the way that you've incorporated the melody in this song. Despite the song being based around this one melody line IT REALLY is one that you won't get tired of hearing so it's a treat when you hear it in the next drop.

I love the fact that even though you could have the same melody and same drop repeat throughout the song you still vary each drop with a different feeling which can represent how each moment that you experience in your lifetime might be similar but not exactly the same. IN THE FIRST DROP YOU HAVE THE MAIN MELODY PLAYING ON THAT SYNTHION SOUNDING LEAD WITH THAT HAPPY HARDCORE SOUND/JERSEY CLUB RHYTHM. BUT ALSO WITHIN THAT THE FIRST DROP ITSELF HAS LOTS OF DETAILS THAT I ADORE. THOSE DRUMS HONESTLY HIT AND I DEFINITELY LOVE HOW THEY COMPLEMENT EVERYTHING SO WELL. 0:44, WHEN THE FIRST NOTE HITS YOU HAVE THAT LOW SUB WITH THAT KICK, AND THOSE CHORDS STACKS. MMMM, I ADORE THE LITTLE SIXTEENTH NOTE STUTTERS FROM THE SYNTH CHORDS and then it goes into progression w the drums having that rhythm to them. THE LITTLE FILL-IN ARPS ARE SO PRETTY AHHHH, VERY AURORA-LIKE. 0;51, ALSO THIS IS A SUPER SUBTLE DETAIL BUT I LOVE HOW BEFORE IN THE SONG THE SNARE drum hits on the offbeats to follow the groove to the kick but at this part they hit at the same time which gives it that IMPACT w how the tail of the snare resonates.

1:06, AHHHH then we go into the break section where the song starts to relax a little and the wonderful vocals start to come back in. LOTS OF CHILLS. But honestly can I say that I adore the story that you're able to tell with your songs in the musical sense. You really have this contrast of energy and release where despite the latter section cooling off it isn't seen as something lacking and rather something beautiful. It gives that feeling of seeing something beautiful and despite having times where you aren't going through that journey there's still that rush that you have after discovering something beautiful and holding onto that memory. You take those feelings with you and understand that this is why you continue. These lead to discovering even more beautiful things that even though they won't be the exact same as moments from before it will be just as powerful. I'M SORRY I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I'LL WRITE ABOUT THIS BUT THERE'S JUST SO MUCH THINGS THAT I ADORE IN HERE. HONESTLY, SUPER LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS EP AHHHHHHH.
