SS eventually caught the attention of record labels, and in 2004, their 1st international debut, "Premeditated", was released on Sector 9 Studios (US) and Out of Line (Europe). To promote the release, SS departed for an extensive North American tour with Imperative Reaction. In November of 2004, SS took their act to Germany to perform at a series of "Out of Line Electro Festivals" with Hocico, Icon of Coil, God Module and Spetsnaz.
In 2005 SS moved to Metropolis Records, to release their next album, "Postscript", showcasing the band's knack for writing some of the most emotional electronic music in the genre. After following the release of "Postscript" with a US tour, SS is once again back in the studio working on more music to satisfy their ever-growing fan base.

This Is Why
System Syn Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
What it was that I died for
Sick in silence where you left me
But I can't shut my mouth
Maybe this is why
I will say what's on my mind
And I'll stumble in the dark
Waiting for your hand
To pull me to the light
But maybe this is why
I have no sense of wrong or right
Or of you the fading blue of the sky
Left it's image in your eye
It's reflection I have seen
But always knew it was a dream
A hope so distant so destroyed
I have no faith to carry on
The lyrics of System Syn's song "This Is Why" convey a sense of loss and confusion, as the singer grapples with the aftermath of a past event that they can no longer understand. The lines "I can't interpret anymore / What it was that I died for" suggest a sort of existential crisis, as the singer struggles to make sense of their own life and purpose. This is compounded by the feeling of abandonment expressed in the line "Sick in silence where you left me," which speaks to the isolation and pain that comes with losing someone or something important.
Despite this despair, however, the singer also expresses a defiant resolve to continue speaking their truth, even in the face of confusion and uncertainty. The lines "I will say what's on my mind / Until my sense of you is blind" convey a sense of strength and determination in the midst of emotional turmoil. The repeated refrain of "maybe this is why" further underscores the idea that there may be some deeper purpose to the pain and difficulty the singer is experiencing, even if they cannot fully understand it.
Taken as a whole, "This Is Why" is a powerful meditation on loss, grief, and the struggle to find meaning in difficult times. It speaks to the importance of continuing to express oneself and seek one's own truth, even in the darkest of moments.

I can't interpret anymore
I'm unable to understand anything anymore
What it was that I died for
I can't recall what I lost everything for
Sick in silence where you left me
I'm feeling sick and distressed in the place where you deserted me
But I can't shut my mouth
But I'm unable to remain quiet about my feelings and expressions
Maybe this is why
Maybe that's the reason for everything
I will say what's on my mind
I will speak everything that I have in my head
Until my sense of you is blind
Unless my sense of you disappears
And I'll stumble in the dark
And I'll wander aimlessly in darkness
Waiting for your hand
Expecting your help
To pull me to the light
To rescue me from this darkness
But maybe this is why
But maybe that's the reason for everything
I have no sense of wrong or right
I'm unable to differentiate between right and wrong
Or of you the fading blue of the sky
Or the blue color of the sky that represented you, is now slowly disappearing
Left it's image in your eye
Left its image or an impression in your eyes
It's reflection I have seen
I have only seen its reflection in your eyes
But always knew it was a dream
But I knew it was just a dream
A hope so distant so destroyed
A hope that was far away and now completely ruined
I have no faith to carry on
I have no trust or belief to move forward

If we aren't saints in this life
Don't act like you're surprised
It's not that I have change
So don't say you knew me when I was a better person
I never was a different man
I just let the mask slip more
Than you could stand
And now you recognize that all the things you claim to hate
Are personified in someone that you thought was so different from you
So suddenly you care
To be a part of this
To help me through this life
Because you're there for me
When things are going right
But everything will change
Just like it always does
And you are still ashamed
Of the idea that I never was
Perfection, the ideal
Yes, I am flawed, but I am real.
So suddenly you care
To be a part of this
To help me through this life
Because you care for me
When things are going right
You're not perfecly unique, you are just like me
You are frail and you are weak, you need a cage to be free
You're not perfecly unique, you are just like me
You are frail and you are weak, you need a cage to be free
To be a part of this
To help me through this life
Because you're there for me
When things are going right
But everything will change
The curtains will reveal
There are wounds in life
That time will never heal
