2012, T&N reunites George Lynch , Jeff Pilson and “Wild” Mick Brown - aka “The Big Three” from Dokken - for this brand new 12 song disk that will surely be referred to as a classic in years to come! Returning to their roots, “Slave to the Empire” offers eight new original songs and four re-recorded classic Dokken songs that feature sensational vocal performances by Tim Ripper Owens, Doug Pinnick (Kings X), Sebastian Bach, and Robert Mason (Warrant). Add to the mix the hard hitting, multi-talented drumming of Brian Tichy and you’ve got yourself a major dose! This 12 song release is progressive, it’s heavy, it’s dark, it’s bluesy, and each player’s performance is absolutely stellar. “Slave to the Empire” captures the spirit and magic from the classic metal genre, and is truly a work of art that will not disappoint!
Alone Again
T&N Lyrics

I like to feel you when it comes to night
Now I'm here and I'm all alone
Still I know how it feels, I'm alone again
Tried so hard to make you see
But I couldn't find the words
Now the tears, they fall like rain
Alone again without you
Alone again without you
I said stay, but you turned away
Tried to say that it was me
Now I'm here and I've lost my way
Still I know how it feels, I'm alone again
Tried so hard to make you see
But I couldn't find the words
Now the tears, they fall like rain
I'm alone again without you
I tried so hard to make you see
But I couldn't find the words
Now the tears, they fall like rain
I'm alone again without you
The lyrics to T&N's "Alone Again" express the feelings of loneliness and heartbreak. The singer desires to see their significant other in the morning light and feel them close at night, but they find themselves alone. They tried to communicate their feelings to their partner but were unsuccessful, and now they are left with tears falling like rain. The singer is lost and feels alone, wishing that their partner had stayed, but they turned away. The repetition of the line "I'm alone again without you" emphasizes the sense of abandonment and solitude the singer feels after their relationship has ended.
This song speaks to the experience of many people who have lost love in their lives. The desire to be close to someone is a fundamental human need, and when that connection is broken, it can leave a person feeling alone and vulnerable. The lyrics show that the singer made an effort to communicate their feelings, but there was a breakdown in communication that ultimately led to the end of the relationship. The repetition of the phrase "I'm alone again without you" creates a sense of helplessness that many people feel after being left by someone they love.

I remember when Baz and I were teens and he brought over Knights of the new Thunder. we got high and thought TNT was the greatest band ever, now he's playing with them. I'm super proud of my old friend
@ejsinner1520
Wrong band. Lol
@stefannita3439
Wrong band as EJ said, but funnily enough, Tony Harnell who sang on that record ended up being one of Baz's replacements in Skid Row 30 years later lol
@ZiggyTheAdventurer
@@ejsinner1520 I haven't followed TNT since the "Tell No Tales" album. I guess I "assumed" it was the same band since they had the same name, my bad
@stefannita3439
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer it's not the same name :) this is T&N, not TNT. It stands for Tooth & Nail and it's old members of Dokken, without Don Dokken.

@@stefannita3439 yeah I see that now, my bad. but it's the same name to a blind man, lol
