T-Love Lyrics

Zaczynam kolejny dzie ycia
Wygldam przez okno, na oczach mam sen
A Grochw sie budzi z przepicia
Wypity alkohol uderza w tetnice
Autobus tapla sie w niegu
Przez szybe ogldam betonu stolice
Ju jestem na drugim jej brzegu
Gdy patrze w twe oczy zmeczone jak moje
To kocham to miasto zmeczone jak ja
Gdzie Hitler I Stalin zrobili, co swoje
Gdzie wiosna spalin oddycha
Krakowskie Przedmiecie zalane jest socem
Wirujesz jak obok, wynurzasz sie z bramy
A ja jestem godny, tak bardzo godny
Kochanie, nakarmisz mnie snami
Zielony oliborz, pieprzony oliborz
Rozkwita na drzewach na krzewach
Ciekami z rzeki kompletnie pijany
Chce krzycze, chce rycze, chce piewa
Pogdy patrze w twe oczy zmeczone jak moje
To kocham to miasto zmeczone jak ja
Gdzie Hitler I Stalin zrobili, co swoje
Gdzie wiosna spalin oddycha
Jesieni zawsze zaczyna sie szkoa
A w knajpach zaczyna sie picie
Jest toczno I duszno, olewa nas kelner
I tak skoczymy o wicie
Jesieni zawsze myle o latach
Tak starych jak te kamienice
Jesieni wychodze z tob na spacer
Przez pene kasztanw ulice
I patrze w twe oczy zmeczone jak moje
To kocham to miasto zmeczone jak ja
Gdzie Hitler I Stalin zrobili, co swoje
Gdzie wiosna spalin oddycha
The lyrics to T-Love's song "Warszawa" describe the singer's love and connection to the city of Warsaw. The song opens with the singer waking up to a winter day, looking outside and seeing the neighborhood of Grochow coming to life after a night of heavy drinking. The alcohol from the night before is still affecting the singer's body, and they look out the window at the concrete cityscape of Warsaw, already on the move. Despite the weariness of the city, the singer loves it, comparing their own exhaustion to that of Warsaw.
The singer notes the city's history of having been affected by both Hitler and Stalin, yet despite this history, the city endures and thrives. They describe Krakowskie Przedmiescie, a main street in Warsaw, being bathed in sunlight and filled with people, while they themselves feel worthy and deserving of being a part of the city, asking to be nourished with dreams. The singer also mentions the neighborhood of Oliborz, where greenery blooms and they feel the urge to scream and sing.
The song also touches on the changing of seasons in Warsaw. The beginning of autumn means back to school and drinking in bars, while the singer reminisces about years gone by and the old stone buildings in the city. They take a walk with their love through streets filled with chestnut trees, and as they look into their lover's eyes, they feel a deep love for the city and all its history.

How I love this song!!!
I'm not Polish, I've heard it many years ago thanks to my wife and every time I hear it I am literally moved.
You can feel all the love that they have for this wonderful city, a love that I too felt immediately when I've been there the first time, so many years ago.
It is indescribable, difficult to understand if you don't know this wonderful city and these wonderful people well, the more years pass, the more I understand what this song means.
I am happier and happier that this city adopted me!

Kiedyś muzyka była jakaś inna.... Prawdziwe emocje, prawdziwe instrumenty, i czasy jakieś bardziej prwadziwe .......
