T-Rock immediately moved to Memphis and began recording. His clever lyricism and tongue-twisting style immediately endeared T-Rock to fans all over the south. Widely regarded as one of the best lyricists to ever grace a Three 6 Mafia track, his appearances were partly responsible for the platinum successes of two albums and the sale of hundreds of thousands of other albums.
After a series of disagreements between he and his label, T-Rock decided to leave the Hypnotized Minds imprint he was signed to and embark on an independent career. Hooking up with his hometown crew Area 51, T-Rock went on to release several underground classics that have sold over 100,000 copies with barely any promotion or radio play. T-Rock has worked with a multitude of artists that include Too Short, Pastor Troy, Lil' Scrappy, Bo Hagon, Gangsta Boo, Lil Weavah, Max Minelli,Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Gangsta Pat, Al Kapone, Young Buck, Macboney & AK (of P$C) and Bizzy Bone just to name a few major names.
2006 was a great year for T-Rock and his fans as it saw the release of 'The Kush'. The album features production from M.A.J. of Xplosive Productions, DJ Cree, and T-Rock himself. Guest appearances include Max Minelli, P. Dukes of Countree Noise, and his Area 51 family. "This will be my most complete album to date," states the fiery emcee, "I've grown a lot and I believe its gonna show on this album." To say the south is waiting for this release would be an understatement.

Girl
Why'd you let me let you go?
Bullets in the dark
Shooting through my hesitating heart
We were never gonna go far
'Cause I'm no good at loving
Someone else good as you
Look what I put you through
I know I can't undo this
I'm black and blue to tell the truth
It's breaking me, I'm not just losing you
I'm losing what you saw in me
Why'd you let me let you go?
I can't breathe without you here
I wish you'd never watch me leave
Why'd you let me let you go?
Oh, go
Why'd you let me let you go?
Wish you made me stay
Wish you didn't let me run away
'Cause you knew that I would never change
'Cause I'm not good at lying
To Someone else good as you
Look what I put you through
I know I can't undo this
I'm black and blue to tell the truth
It's breaking me, I'm not just losing you
I'm losing what you saw in me
Why'd you let me let you go?
I can't breathe without you here
I wish you'd never watch me leave
Why'd you let me let you go?
Oh, go
Why'd you let me let you go?
I tried, I tried to love you
I swear, I tried
But how can I love you if you're not here?
I tried, I tried to love you
I swear, I tried
I tried, I tried to love
It's breaking me, I'm not just losing you
I'm losing what you saw in me
Why'd you let me let you go?
I can't breathe without you here
I wish you'd never watch me leave
Why'd you let me let you go?
Oh, go
Why'd you let me let you go?
Oh, go
Why'd you let me let you go?
Oh
The song "Let's Go" by T-Rock depicts a man lamenting the loss of a woman he loved deeply. The song is essentially a confession of his failures and regrets post-breakup, as he reflects on the choices that led to the end of their relationship. The song begins with him asking the girl why she let him let her go, which indicates that he played an active role in their separation. The subsequent verse talks about his hesitations and how they led him to make the wrong choices that caused them to drift apart. He acknowledges that he cannot change what happened, and his pain is evident in the powerful and emotive lyrics.
The chorus is where the artist directly addresses the woman, expressing his desperate need for her presence in his life. He says that he is not just losing her, but also the person she saw in him, which hints at his realization that he had taken her love for granted. He goes on to say that if she had stayed, he would not be feeling the constant anguish that her absence has brought, and he would still have her by his side. The repetition of the question, "Why'd you let me let you go?" serves as a reminder to the woman of the significance of their relationship and the pain that their separation has caused.
Overall, T-Rock's "Let's Go" is a raw and honest reflection of the pain that comes with the end of a relationship. It is a song that many can relate to and resonate with, as it captures the feelings of regret and longing for a lost love.
