Let You Go

the joy, I feel the same
everlasting pain of my loss remains
My heart, can't seem to learn to part
the hold you left the mark
all that I dreamed of now it seems so stark
Tho I told myself won't hold my breath
a part of me was dying
but give in
If you gave me, one more chance
to tell you how i was feeling
I would sing to you and tell you
I won't live my life without you
If you gave me, one more chance
to tell you how i was feeling
I would hold your hand
and look in your eyes and ya know,
I'd never let you go
The way, you left me on the train
I don't know what to say
I remember everything on that day
I can't believe we'd never dance
I just need one more chance
to share the sunset our one last romance
Tho I told myself won't hold my breath
a part of me was dying
there is nothing left for me to do now,
but give in
If you gave me, one more chance
to tell you how i was feeling
I would sing to you and tell you
I won't live my life without you
If you gave me, one more chance
to tell you how i was feeling
I would hold your hand
and look in your eyes and ya know,
I'd never let you go
If you gave me, one more chance
to tell you how i was feeling
I would sing to you and tell you
I won't live my life without you
If you gave me, one more chance
to tell you how i was feeling
I would hold your hand
and look in your eyes and ya know,
I'd never let you go
The lyrics of "Let You Go" by T.E.A.M. speak of a heart that is still reeling from the loss of a loved one. The rain represents the depressing state the singer is in, and although it doesn't bring joy, it also doesn't make things worse either. The loss that the heart feels seems to be everlasting, and there is a feeling of not being able to move on. The hold that the loved one had on the singer is so strong that even though they are not together anymore, the mark that they left is still evident in the singer's heart. The dream they had of being together now seems too far-fetched and unrealistic.
The singer goes on to say that even though they had told themselves not to hold their breath and move on, a part of them was dying. It is a plea to the loved one to give them one more chance to tell them how they feel; that they need them in their life. The singer concludes by saying that if the loved one were to give them that one more chance, they would sing to them, look into their eyes and hold their hand, never letting them go again.
