Uh
OK
Lot of heartbreaks, in my hotel
Lot of scarred faces, I put in hell
That's where I put you, in the dirt
Thought you wanted others, now I'm hurt
Fell hard on my face, got tears running
My past chasing me, devil pacing me
On my every move, on the roof
On the roof, feels like six feet under
Going six feet under
Going six feet under
On the, on the, on the roof going six feet under
I wonder, yeah, I wonder
I wonder, where to go
Where to go
I wonder, I wonder
Where to go
I popped one now I lined two
It's my heartbreak hotel
My heartbreak hotel
My heartbreak hotel
My heartbreak hotel
Lot of heartbreaks, in my hotel
Lot of scarred faces, I put in hell
That's where I put you, in the dirt
Thought you wanted others, now I'm hurt
I'm so f***** hurt
Pour all the blood on my veins
I can't see
Can't see in my visions
Visions going blurry, very hazy
Don't call me Mcflurry
Yeah, yeah
In my heartbreak hotel, my heartbreak hotel
I wonder, I wonder where to go
Where to go
Where to go
Now I need to blow one, and blow two
Yup it's going to kill me
It is killing me
Pain inside my f***** heart
Can't even go away
Go away
Go away, now, getaway
Getaway
Ain't no red pepper
Ain't no red heart, scarred on my f***** face you can see it
You can see it, on my face
Can see it, on my face
In a rave, in a rave
Going crazy, can see it
Cause I popped one
Heartbreak, heartbreak
Going in, heartbreak
Heartbreak hotel
The lyrics of T.I.'s "Hotel" convey an emotional tumultuousness within a romantic relationship. The singer acknowledges their part in the constant fighting and apologizes for their actions. Despite the efforts made to salvage the relationship, they find themselves stuck in a "heartbreak hotel." The hotel serves as a metaphor for the state of their relationship, which is ironically anything but welcoming, heartwarming, or happy.
The singer seems to be struggling with their relationship and their role in it. They know they have caused pain and acknowledge the hurt they have inflicted. However, despite this self-awareness, they seem to be at a loss on how to fix the relationship. The repeating lines, "We're not speaking / All we do is fight / I'm the reason," is a confession of guilt, which highlights the cracks in the relationship. The hotel in the lyrics is symbolic of a refuge from the painful reality that is outside its walls.
The overall message of this song highlights the struggles that can come with a relationship. Relationships are not always perfect, and mistakes can be made, but at its core, the feeling of wanting to make it work is essential.

We been
We have been
Trying to get it right
Attempting to fix our problems
Every evening
Consistently, every night
Just to pass the time
To occupy ourselves with something
We're not speaking
We are not communicating
All we do is fight
Our only form of communication is arguing
Im the reason
I am to blame
I been in a heartbreak hotel
I am currently feeling heartbroken
Im stuck in doors
I feel trapped in my emotions
Heartbreak Hotel
A metaphor for the emotional state of feeling heartbroken
I'll still be yours
I am still committed to our relationship
Falling in and out of love
Our love is not stable, it comes and goes
I do apologize
I am sorry for my actions
Tell me what I'm guilty of
Share with me what I did wrong
Lord only knows I tried
I made an effort to make things work
Out of everyone you stood above
You were more important than anyone else
I made a sacrifice
I gave up something to make this relationship work
You said that I abused your trust
You accused me of betraying your trust
And that this was the last time
You reached the end of your patience with me
