T.Love started … Read Full Bio ↴(Not to be confused with T-Love the Hip-Hop artist).
T.Love started as a punk rock band “Teenage Love Alternative” in Częstochowa (Poland) in 1982. The lineup at that time consisted of Zygmunt “Muniek” Staszczyk (vocalist), Janusz Konorowski (guitarist), Dariusz Zając (keyboardist) and Jacek Wudecki (drummer). They quickly gained popularity, partly due to their infamous habit of giving shows under influence, and were chosen to perform during Jarocin Festival in 1984. The band changed their name to T.Love in 1987, and went on a 2-year hiatus in 1989. Staszczyk reactivated the band in 1991 with a new lineup and more pop rock sound. Today, T.Love are: Jacek Perkowski, Maciej Majchrzak (guitarists), Sidney Polak (drummer), Paweł Nazimek (bass player) and Michał Marecki (keyboardist). The band has achieved commercial success, bringing many of their songs to the first places of musical charts.

Przez dżungle, przez burzę, przez mrok
Przez alko, przez saiko(?), przez deszcz
Przez miłość, nienawiść, przez seks
Jedziemy do raju,
na haju, na front, pod prąd
jak pałac, jak polska, jak pies
Jedziemy do raju,
na haju, na front, pod prąd
Jedziemy do raju,
na haju, na front, pod prąd
Bo błądzą dziś we mnie nienawiść i złość
Dwie siostry zazdrości, miłości mam dość
Jedziemy do raju,
na haju na front, pod prąd
Bo druga litera to "B"
jak burdel, jak Balzac, jak blef
Następna litera to "C" jak cytryna, Kobieta !
Następna litera to "C" jak cytryna,
Kobieta!
Bo błądzą dziś we mnie nienawiść i złość
Dwie siostry zazdrości, miłości mam dość
Jedziemy do raju
na haju na front pod prąd
Przez dżunglę przez burzę, przez mrok
Przez wojnę, przez pokój, przez noc
Jedziemy do raju
na haju, na front, pod prąd
Bo błądzą dziś we mnie nienawiść i złość
Dwie siostry zazdrości, miłości mam dość
Jedziemy do raju
na haju, na front, pod prąd x2
pod prąd...na front...pod prąd...pod prąd
The lyrics to T.Love's song Frontline speak about the struggles one goes through in life, with each line representing a different obstacle. The first verse lists a range of scenarios - war, peace, night, jungle, storm, darkness, alcohol, drugs, rain, love, hate, and sex - indicating that the journey to paradise is anything but smooth sailing. The chorus then follows, expressing a desire to ignore conventional wisdom and take a different path towards happiness. The singer says that their letter is "P," which could represent anything from a palace to Poland to a dog. The next stanza repeats the theme, listing the struggles of envy and anger, before once again asserting the desire to travel off the beaten path. The singer now claims that their letters are "B" for brothel, Balzac, and bluff, and two Cs for lemon (cytryna) and woman (kobieta).
Overall, the song speaks of a journey towards a better place, but one that is not without danger and obstacles. It encourages the listener to embrace their individuality and move beyond the bounds of what is "normal" or "acceptable." The choice of letters in the song seems to indicate that the singer is not conforming to societal expectations, instead choosing their own path.
