Born Tiago Teixeira and hailing from the metropolitan area of Lisbon, Portugal, he made his full-length album debut in 2007 with T.T. on Universal Music and became something of a sensation in Portugal, where he was often likened to American contemporary R&B stars such as Justin Timberlake and Usher. A Top Ten hit on the Portuguese albums chart, T.T. spawned numerous hit singles ("Dança Este Som," "Faz Acontecer," "Lady, Deixa-Te Levar," "Não Olhes Para Trás," "Vem Cá," "Vou Ficar à Espera") and was re-released in 2008 with a bonus disc of remixes and new material. The special edition bonus disc was also released on its own as T.T. Remixes (2008). Second album Mais Que uma Razão (2009) was another blockbuster commercial success, reaching the Top Five and spawning the Top Ten hit lead single "Não Há Mais Nada." Tem Sido Assim arrived in 2013.
