Graham Brown (born Oct. 30, 1954) became a major presence on country radio in the mid '80s, scoring nine consecutive top 10 hits between 1985 and 1989, including the No. 1 singles "Hell and High Water," "Don't Go To Strangers" and "Darlene." He left Capitol Records after the release of the 1991 album "You Can't Take It With You." Personal problems kept him out of the spotlight for the next few years, but he returned to the charts in 1998 with the autobiographical "Wine Into Water." He continues to tour and to record for independent labels.

I miss my baby terribly but this song helps the pain not hurt so much. My insufferable addiction to crystal meth for 14yrs now is what took him away by children service. I had Bex-Lee at the age of 39 and 3weeks after his thunder my supposed best friend called children service made false statements against me had the intention of stealing my baby to help fix her already doomed relationship for 3days all I could do was cry and self medicate ontop my dirty laundry hill in my one bedroom walkin closet. It made it so hard to feel anything but his absence after carrying him for nine months in the end I decided to give him up in hopes of him having a healthy lifestyle with a sober mom and dad to give him what I can't I still suffer in addiction and continue to try find my way through the woods of addiction and loss.❤thank you

Have heard, and sung this beautiful song all my long life.
Sang it to my Daughters at bedtime, to my Darling Boy, my life companion in the car on happy trips and, latterly, on the way to dialysis.
Every word, every note pierces my heart with loneliness, now he has left me behind.
I now sing it to my sweet Granddaughter, who was born three months after he died.
This slow, heartfelt rendition, the 'voice' of the guitar blending seamlessly with the soaring, sobbing voice of the singer gave me permission to weep for my loss once more.

My Aunt used to sing this to me as a baby and young child and it holds so much meaning to me. She just recently passed away and I can feel her in this song. It truly brings me to tears. This song has been played and played by me and it brings me so much comfort and i truly, from the bottom of my heart appreciate this song so much and honor it. ❤️💓🙌🏽

I think Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson are the new reemerging face of country music.. they are reminiscent of the good old " Outlaw" and just great sound that I grew up listening to from the late 70s to mid 80s .. Waylon,Willie, Johnny, Merle Haggard,.. And also I want to say this is the first time I have gotten to hear Morgan's Stapleton sing fully outside of being a backup.. and she is a talent of her own right..
