Red Hot Mama
T. Rex Lyrics

Hot rod mama moving like a motor cycle devil in a race
Blown out my mind, I can't keep up the pace
I'm selling all my midnight, still broke and living on the ground
My gone little mama cut out without a sound

With my greased-up levis,
Baseball boots above my head
If it wasn't such a tragedy
I might wish I was dead

She took my ice-cream mustang
And my purple coloured dodeville
She even took my panpipes and my elixir of life pill

this is Tyrannosaurus Rex ... T. Rex is the later name of the band, when they moved from the duo to group and abandoned psychedelic folk for glam rock

I used to listen to this and The Incredible String Band back in 67/68 almost non-stop. It must have driven my parents mad. Well, that was my job after all. My kids did the same to me but my grandchildren seem to get it. Life is strange.

Awesome album, incredible debut, could listen on repeat all day
