Space Boss
T. Rex Lyrics

Space Boss
Space Boss

Wrapped and packed and pressed to go out
Rock and Roll is welcome where I'm at

Are you the space boss
Will you see me at any cost
Are you are you are you are you
Are you now
Are you are you are you are you
Are you now
The space boss

Ready the flight thrust
Did you crunch your aircraft
Are you are you are you are you
Are you now
Are you are you are you are you
Are you now
The space boss

The identical twin
And her diluted, fluted grin
Ooh

Are you are you are you are you
Are you now
Are you are you are you are you
Are you now
The space boss
The space boss, say it again

I said, are you are you are you are you
Are you now
Are you are you are you are you
Are you now
The space boss
The space boss
Can you dig it?
Now you've lighted my innermost eye
It's Rock and Roll stuff

Your the Space Boss
It ain't nothin', no it wouldn't be lost
If I could mould my hands with the
Space Boss
Like a S-P-A-C-E
That spells "space" baby

I've gotta feeling Bowie wishes he could've done this one. In fact, can almost see him doin' this one with Bolan. Then again, I could be stoned and having mere visions.

I can't believe you Thomas you say your a Marc Bolan fan and then write a load of rubbish about him, last time you said your era was 69 to 73 so why are you here this is 75 so you came here to listen to it to past judgement on something you already hate smart just stick to years you like and leave his other years to people who still appreciate his music till the end, what constitutes a weak song in your eye's let's say it was the other way round and this was his first hit would you be saying anything different about it or would you not be a T.Rex fan at all !

That 's a tad stinging, if based on the short comment below. Bolan did some weak songs (like this for instance and Truck On Tyke's no classic either!) but then even The Beatles did a few iffy songs (but not many!) It may be, however, that this geezer has made further more in depth comments to warrant a rebuke. Many have eras they prefer, but branch out into others too....My first L.P. was 'T.rex' in the early 1970s, my last was Squire's expanded 'September Gurls' (2019) originally issued in mid 80s (a shit decade for mainstream music as far as I'm concerned, but a lot of bands that didn't 'make it' made it for me). The last thing I played yesterday was 'Dandy in the Underworld', when Bolan was starting his 'return to form' as they say. Even that album has it's weak spots; just a different fan's opinion.....

michael foley Thankfully I have no era. Started buying records when I was 7 & still buy em now. I will always be listening to something new or old until I die.

Great sax on this. One of Marc's best after taking on the producing of T.Rex himself.

You could forgiven for thinking the man predicted the space bar of the modern computer. Space boss (bar).

Really awful. Late MB was weak. Some wonderful tracks though in this period. But not many.
