The song RED by the GazettE is a typically intense and dark track like most of the band’s music. The lyrics of this song can have many interpretations as they are quite obscure and abstract. The song seems to talk about being trapped in a seemingly endless cycle of pain and longing that the singer can’t seem to escape. The opening lines “You are the deep sea’s true salt. You who awaken within me. Chains that just feed on the poison” could refer to the singer being addicted to something or someone, and the addiction driving them to self-destructive behavior. The lines could be interpreted as the singer feeling helpless and hopeless, trapped in a cycle of addiction that only leads to more pain and misery.
The chorus of the song “Embrace me, and tell me lies. Don’t hide my sinking heart. Show me why your lips are dry. I can’t help but yearn for more.” could be interpreted as the singer begging the person they are addicted to, to stay with them and tell them lies to mask the pain and emptiness they feel. They seem to have almost given up and had no hope left until they met the person they are singing to.

I remember very vividly how this video got leaked in its release time over here at Youtube...people uploaded it with all sorts of crazy names in hopes of not being taken down, one of them was 'sexy chicken nugget' I kid you not my friends. Still got taken down.
Can't believe it's been seven years from that time. Love how far they've come and how they continue to reinvent themselves and their sound. Always and forever my favorite band.

Remembered when i was a starting fan of this band and autoplay played this song and it was under the name of sexy chicken nugget😂😂😂it was true. Oh boy i remember now so many things and so many regrets when i was new to this band
