The group debuted on March 4th, 2019, with the extended play The Dream Chapter: STAR (꿈의 장: STAR), with "CROWN" ("어느날 머리에서 뿔이 자랐다") as the lead single.
After being delayed for two months, the group finally had their first comeback on October 21, 2019, with their first full album, The Dream Chapter: MAGIC (꿈의 장: MAGIC), alongside the lead single "9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)" ("9와 4분의 3 승강장에서 너를 기다려").
The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY (꿈의 장: ETERNITY) soon followed, and on May 18, 2020, the album was released alongside the lead single "Can't You See Me?" ("세계가 불타버린 밤, 우린...").
On October 26, 2020, their extended play minisode1 : Blue Hour and the title track "Blue Hour" ("5시 53분의 하늘에서 발견한 너와 나") was released.
On May 31, 2021, they released their second full-length album named The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE , which consists of 8 songs, including the lead single "0X1=LOVESONG." On August 17, 2021, the group released their repackaged album, The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE, 3 months after the release of 0X1=LOVESONG. It included 3 new songs, with LO$ER=LO♡ER (pronounced "loser lover") as the third single overall from the album.
Nine months after the release of their repackaged album, The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE, the group returned with minisode 2: Thursday's Child, on May 9, 2022. "Good Boy Gone Bad" serves as the lead single. The extended play also features the first two unit tracks from the group, Lonely Boy (The tattoo on my ring finger) sung by Yeonjun and Hueningkai, and Thursday's Child Has Far To Go sung by Taehyun, Soobin, and Beomgyu, who produced the track.
The group embarked on their first sold-out world tour, ACT: LOVESICK, on July 2, 2022. The ACT: LOVESICK tour featured several venues across the US, Japan, and Asia. The tour came to an end on October 28, 2022.
To start 2023, on January 27, the group returned with their Billboard 200 chart-topping fifth EP, The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION (이름의 장: TEMPTATION) accompanied by lead single "Sugar Rush Ride."
Shortly after the drop of The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, the group announced their second world tour, ACT: SWEET MIRAGE. They are set to begin the tour on March 25, 2023.
On March 21, 2023, it was announced that the group would headline LOLLAPALOOZA 2023. In 2022, they became the first k-pop group in history to perform at the festival. TOMORROW X TOGETHER will be the first group to headline as well.

The brilliant portrayal of a strong friendship breaking apart accompanied with intrusive thoughts that slowly come to life is quite chilling and sad.
At the beginning, we use the juxtaposition that 'Run Away' gave us and the five boys are intending to have fun, but the tension is evident at 0:50 where Beomgyu eats the head off of the cookie which is then followed with Taehyun eating the strawberry 1:01 which bleeds red like blood, hinting to intrusive thoughts they have about them together. Yeonjun pops Soobin's bubble 0:57 which is ordinary friend behaviour yet Soobin is evidently upset by it. The presence of them all around each other only fuels frustration (the colour red) between all of them, something that is very accurate to real-life relationships.
While hanging-out, they do so very absent-mindedly except when it comes to causing chaos. Beomgyu uses the mess of the blender to have fun 1:32 which Yeonjun responds the same. Perhaps they are trying to have fun together again or perhaps its an outlet for them to express how they actually feel about their relationship now. Yeonjun eventually feels guilty 2:27. Hueningkai is seen mostly hanging around on the floor 1:55 and looks to have no energy to this hangout. Taehyun seems to be the re-occuring victim of this chaos 1:58 2:13 and is clearly angry about all this. But Soobin looks the other way 2:16 playing ignorance to this in attempt to preserve their friendship for longer. These are all real portrayals of how people act. Eventually they reach a breaking point where Soobin finally calls out this broken friendship 2:58 and everyone leaves 3:03. Yet all five them are ruined and hurting.
The entire mv is them tolerating each other through causing chaos at Soobin's house but thats just a facade hiding the actual thoughts the boys have in that moment. The motif of red is continuously utilised to visualise intrusive thoughts. Red can also be associated with hunger, and in this context it can be seen as the boys acting like an ideal friend group to desperately hold on to their safe place that just doesn't exist anymore.
This trilogy is all about growing up. What TXT describes as growing up isn't all happy and comforting. Growing up is painful because it means that the people around you who also grow up start to change and become people you don't know anymore. I personally find this song to be a stark reminder yet somewhat consoling knowledge as I graduate high school this year. Perhaps this is something I fear which is why I came back to this.

Here’s my theory:
Yeonjun started a fire and blamed it on Soobin. Throughout the whole video and previous trailers, Soobin seems to be “invisible” to the other boys, and he doesn’t seem to know why. I think Yeonjun told the others that Soobin started the fire, not himself. This is shown when Yeonjun is throwing food at Soobin, and Soobin starts to scream. Also, Yeonjun seems to be having fun during the fight, but then looks up and sees the other members surrounded by fire. The members look almost zombie-like. I think this could mean that he feels guilty about ruining their friendships and making them feel distant.
Taehyun didn’t believe that Soobin started the fire. In the Run Away MV, Taehyun seems more aware than the others, sometimes looking into the camera. Also he had a star in his eye in Magic Island, which could mean he has the ability to see the truth, or maybe see into another dimension. In this MV, Taehyun often seems distant and thoughtful. This could be because he no longer trusts the other members to tell the truth, and he’s trying to find a way to prove Soobin innocent.
Beomgyu and Yeonjun seem to be good friends in this video (Yeonjun giving Beomgyu the cookie, running around the table together, jumping on the beds together) so clearly Beomgyu wouldn’t want his friend to be blamed. So when Taehyun started to suspect Yeonjun, Beomgyu killed him. I think this is pretty clear in the MV, because we see Beomgyu suffocating Taehyun, and hitting him in the chest with food (it kinda looks like a bullet wound) Whether Beomgyu did this on his own or was somehow possessed/encouraged, I’m not so sure. Several times the lights turn red when Beomgyu is shown on the screen, which could show possession.
The only thing I have no clue about is Kai. Taehyun seems mad at him, violently throwing the food near his head. I was thinking that Kai chose to be ignorant of the fact that Yeonjun started the fire and is blaming Soobin, because the whole time he seems unfazed/unaware of the food fight.

this song is so painful bc it talks about how friendships can fall apart. the way theyre laying on each other in the beginning shows how they trust each other and how they all have a shoulder to cry on. but then in the end theyre all facing their backs against each other showing how they cant trust one another anymore. there's also the term of sandcastles that's used in the lyrics. it represents how you try so hard to build a friendship and each part of the sandcastle relies on one another. but the thing is that its so easy for the sandcastle to collapse. i think one part of the sandcastle fell and it caused the whole sandcastle to crumble apart. this could represent a friend betraying the others or distancing themselves and this causes the whole friendship to break. txt really has the most deepest songs...
