Damn profound. Both of you.

It's like our perception of reality is the fiction - that we can save the world - which, unsurprisingly, is why so much of our fiction, our fantasies, movies, books, and video games...is that we can.

And yet...one can make a difference in the world in small ways, and history is littered with people being in JUST the right place, at JUST the right time, and taking JUST the right actions to change the course of Human history. Will that be you? Will that be me? Who can know?

But what we do know is that there is a world of beauty and people worth living for, worth trying to save. After all, what if you WERE the person of fate and you chose not to act when you COULD have changed history..?

But...

...not everyone can be saved...

Every choice has a consequence, and ever gain comes at a non-equal loss. The question is: Who CAN you save...and what will it cost..?

This melancholy tribute artist deals 9,999 damage every track.

The true theme of FFIX.

Such a haunting, yet beautiful song.

It's a shame that the first [and last] time we see Burmecia is when it's in ruins. I always kinda wonder what it was like as a bustling capital [especially if the Kingdom of Eternal Rain is literal in its meaning].

KaBoom

Well I imagine everyone was in raincoats haha

Freya’s theme is like a hidden gem among all the Final Fantasy sound tracks that may have been overlooked by many ppl

So relaxing, beautiful, peaceful and sad at the same time. The rain sounds perfect with this music. It's a great tribute. One of my favourite tracks in Final Fantasy IX. This melody tells me so much about Freya's feelings same as Freya's Theme. Weird what music can do.

this track is a masterpiece, I remember running through rainy fields of Burmecia for the first time and even not caring much about Freya and her storyline, when I heard this track and entered Burmecia, I instantly felt so desperate for her.

I'm Very Angry It's Not Butter

This is fantastic. It captures the mood, dare I say, more perfectly than the original. It really is a shame that we never get to see Burmecia intact, even after the ending time skip.

BlueGuise

Does anyone else listen to this when they are really sad?
