Louise
TV Girl Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
When she climbed into his bed
She only wanted to lie beside him
To hell with his best friend
She woke and she whispered,
But the answer wasn't good
Whatever made you think I would ever love you?
Louise, Louise
You can't be anybody's friend
Louise, Louise
I 'll love you til I'm dead
Louise, Louise
Not even if she likes the way you dance
Louise never heard about puppy love
Cuz they don't know that term in France
She came from across the country
Just to stare in her phone
She came to see me'
She just wanted to be left alone
But she can't show anybody's attention
Nobody wants to be her friend
I want to kick you out on the streets
But I'll never be a man
Louise, Louise
You can't be anybody's friend
Louise, Louise
I 'll love 'till I'm done
Louise, Louise
Not even if she likes the way you dance
Louise, Louise
They don't know about turning friends
The song "Louise" by TV Girl tells a story about a girl who makes a mistake by sleeping with a guy who happens to be the best friend of the one she really wanted to be with. Despite having some sort of attention from the guy she likes, she woke up to the harsh reality that he might not feel the same way about her. His answer to her whispered question was not what she was hoping for. She then realizes that she can't be anybody's friend, not even the guy she thought could be her love interest. Louise is disappointed and feels rejected by the guy from the moment she woke up beside him.
The song continues to describe how Louise traveled across the country only to end up lost in her phone and distant from people. She feels isolated and doesn't seem to have many friends. The singer seems to express frustration towards Louise as she seems to be stuck in her own world and unable to connect with people. He wants to kick her out, but he also sympathizes with her and understands that she has a hard time making friends. The song paints a picture of a lonely girl desperately seeking connection but ultimately failing to find it.
Overall, "Louise" is a poignant song that touches on themes of rejection, isolation, and loneliness. Through the character of Louise, the song comments on the difficulties many people experience in making meaningful connections with others.

the lyrics are so sad but the music is sooo good omg
@notfunyman5373
the song is based on a true story basically the artist (TV girl ims just call them tv tho) got a call from his friend ally or sumthin to meet a french model whos louise so TV went and met up and louise talked about a love triangle she was stuck in which is the “bestfriend” at the beggining of the song from the line “to hell with his best friend” which loved her and then the dude she got into bed with was the one she loved so she escaped to LA and the line “never heard about puppy love” is because they literally dont have the term “puppy love” in france
@notfunyman5373
oh and he said that it was probably puppy love which is how he found that out because she responded sith “whats that”
