Human Jungle
Take It Easy Hospital Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

All at once I felt I knew it
How it could be round here
Then I looked up
And I’d forgotten exactly where I’d been
All I could see was her eyes
They burned a hole through my heart
And I felt like a child when schools about to start
Will she miss me in the morning
When the sun sets right on her door
Will the dances still feel the same
Will she come round here lookin for more
I was going up the country
And thinking bout you dear.
& wondering how many bottles have lead me to here,
But now I’m taking it easy, cause yr on my mind,
No need for all this ramblin’ & wasting all my time.
Will she miss me in the morning
When the sun sets right on her door
Will the dances still feel the same
Will she come round here lookin for more
[Instrumental Brake:]
[Solo:]
Will she miss me in the morning
When the sun sets right on her door
Will the dances still feel the same
Will she come round here lookin for more
Well I’ve thought about the places
The people and the faces
I thought about all the things to do
But I just cant get past, lord

You know I just cant get past lord,
You know I just cant get past thinking about you (2x)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Take It Easy Hospital's "Human Jungle" express a sense of feeling lost and searching for something, a feeling that many people can relate to. The singer sings about being in a state of uncertainty and confusion, feeling like they know what's going on one minute and then feeling lost the next. The mention of a woman's eyes burning a hole through the singer's heart suggests that they have strong feelings for this person and are wondering if she feels the same way.

The theme of uncertainty and feeling lost is also apparent in the singer's thoughts about the future. They wonder if the dances will still feel the same, and if the woman they're thinking about will come looking for more. The singer is looking for a sense of stability and comfort, and seems to find it when they think about the person they care about. The line "But now I'm taking it easy, cause yr on my mind" suggests that thinking about this person brings the singer peace of mind.

The lyrics of "Human Jungle" are open to interpretation, but overall they express a feeling of being lost and searching for something, and finding comfort in the thought of someone they care about.

Lyrics :

I've been there alone ,I've been there with you
Believe me out there, there's a jungle
Together or alone
Together or alone

People are looking for a way to survive
But we are just looking for a shortcut
Together or alone
Together or alone

Nobody knows me
Nobody feels me
Nobody knows me
Nobody needs me

Human jungle rules our lives
Say hello to a bitter life
No way out
No way out
No wayyyyy out X2

We travel the world, we gather in peace
Believe me out there, theres a jungle
Together or alone
Together or alone

People are people dont waste your time
But im just getting closer to a place to leave
Together or alone
Together or alone

Nobody knows me
Nobody feels me
Nobody knows me
Nobody needs me

Human jungle rules our lives
Say hello to a bitter life
No way out
No way out
No wayyyyy out X4

Nobody knows me
Nobody feels me
Nobody knows me
Nobody needs me

I've been there alone ,I've been there with you
Believe me out there, there's a jungle
Together or alone
Together or alone

Theres some urgency in this song, I think the lyrics fit with the Film. Desperation meets Hope in those underground forbidden studios / concerts. My deepest admiration for such artistic creations under such difficults conditions.
