After filming a 2005 Take That: For the Record about the group and releasing a new greatest hits album, a four-piece Take That without Williams officially announced a 2006 reunion tour around the UK, entitled The Ultimate Tour. The group achieved new success as a four-piece, scoring a string of chart hits across the UK and Europe while selling over 45 million records worldwide. Williams rejoined Take That in 2010 for the band's sixth studio album, Progress. Released on 15 November of that year, it was the first album of new material to feature Take That's original line-up since their 1995 album, Nobody Else. It became the fastest-selling album of the 21st century and the second fastest-selling album in British history.
In 2014, the band recorded a seventh studio album, this time as a trio without Williams and Orange. The album, titled III, was released in November 2014 and became the band's seventh number one. It was preceded by the single "These Days", which became the band's 12th number one single in the UK.

Take That Lyrics

Does an angel contemplate my fate
And do they know
The places where we go
When we're grey and old
Cause I've been told
That salvation lets their wings unfold
Thoughts running through my head
And I feel that love is dead
I'm loving angels instead
And through it all she offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
Whether I'm right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me
I know that life won't break me
When I come to call she won't forsake me
I'm loving angels instead
When I'm feeling weak
And my pain walks down a one way street
I look above
And I know I'll always be blessed with love
And as the feeling grows
She breathes flesh to my bones
And when love is dead
I'm loving angels instead
And through it all she offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
Whether I'm right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me
I know that life won't break me
When I come to call she won't forsake me
I'm loving angels instead
And through it all she offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
Whether I'm right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me
I know that life won't break me
When I come to call she won't forsake me
I'm loving angels instead
The song "Angels" by Take That is a heartfelt ballad that explores the idea of guardian angels and their role in our lives. The lyrics suggest that the singer is struggling with the challenges of life and is seeking comfort and guidance from a higher power. He wonders if his guardian angel is watching over him and contemplating his fate. He asks if they know where we go when we are old and gray and suggests that salvation will allow their wings to unfold. The chorus repeats the idea that he is loving angels instead of feeling that love is dead, indicating that he has found solace in the idea of having a guardian angel watching over him.
The second verse of the song starts with the singer feeling weak and in pain, but he looks above and knows that he will always be blessed with love. He suggests that his angel is giving him strength, breathing flesh into his bones, and helping him navigate through life's struggles. The chorus repeats again, emphasizing the idea that his guardian angel is offering him protection and a lot of love and affection, whether he's right or wrong. The song ends with a final repetition of the chorus, indicating that the singer will always be loving angels instead of feeling alone and lost.
Overall, "Angels" is a powerful song that explores the idea of guardian angels and their role in providing comfort, guidance, and protection. The lyrics suggest that no matter what challenges or struggles we encounter in life, we can always turn to our guardian angels for love and support.
