Roy has the most "happy" and upbeat songs among the FE characters! I don't know much about his backstory, past, and whatever, but the others have some very sad and dark signature themes, and other songs related to them (Corrin, Robin, Ike, Byleth...)

@duwanglover3424

Which is ironic because Roy is “often crippled by depression” by the thought of loosing a solider. He is only a 15 year old leading an army in a war for his continent.

@wessac1627

this upbeat song plays while roy does 4 damage to an enemy brigand and gets one shot back

@Lightningstrike1220

@Wessac Roy WAS one of the only FE lords to have such massive sympathy for a cursed being that he willed his blade to completely free a soul from darkness and spared their lives.

He was weak, but that sword of his, is arguably the most powerful weapon in FE franchise.

All Roy mains, please rise for your National Anthem.

Roy in his debut game: Pretty crappy stats. (Edit: No, far from it actually. After playing the game myself finally, I hardly think he's horrible. I think most people just don't understand that he's a speed attacker, not a tank.)

Roy in the fandom: We stan you, Roy.

Roy in SSBU: You will not survive being burnt to a crisp.

@shroomoid9403

People call Roy a crappy unit because for most of the game he's painfully average across the board in a game that necessitates having ridiculous power in some stat or another. He's not actually bad as far as raw numbers go, but because specialization is so important in FE6 he'd do better in many other FEs. Being a jack of all trades statwise in FE6 however, is a death sentence.
