Please wait
You try so hard
But all in vain
Cold blood and bruises stain, I feel your pain and shame
His spite shows clear
To him you are spent
Let her go, all this abuse, fright
Never end
You never wanted this life
And you'll never be alright
You're broken and he walked away
I will find him in time
Then I'll take his weak life
I'm coming home, please wait
Kneels and prays
Stop hurting me, she said
But long days go by and no remorse and no regrets
Insane, sick mind
And fear in display
Let him go
He controlled your soul but never again
Never again
You never wanted this life
And you'll never be alrigiht
You're broken and he walked away
I will find him in time
Then I'll take his weak life
I'm coming home, please wait
Please wait
A-ah
Please wait
Mm, you never wanted this life
Never
And you'll never be alright
You're broken and he walked away
I will find him in time
Find him in time
Then I'll take his weak life
I'm coming home, please wait
O-oh
Never this life
A-ah
You'll never be alright
Find him in time
I'm coming home, please wait
The song "I'm Coming Home" by Takida is a passionate and emotional plea to a victim of domestic violence to wait for the singer to save her from her abuser. The lyrics are filled with pain, frustration, and a sense of urgency as the singer tries to convince the victim to leave her abusive partner and come back home. The first verse of the song talks about the victim's suffering at the hands of her abuser. The singer implores her to let go of the abuse and the fear, knowing that it will never end until she takes action. He also promises to find her abuser and take his life.
The second verse continues with the same message of hope and determination. The victim is portrayed as someone who is trying hard to break free from the abusive relationship but is unable to do so. She prays for an end to the abuse, but her abuser shows no remorse. The singer urges her to let go of the control her abuser has over her soul and to never give in to him again. He reminds her that she is not alone, that he is coming to take her home, and that everything will be all right.
