Talk Talk Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Oh oh oh
It's OK
If you don't like the words I say
Throw them away
But sing it just the same
I know inside
I'll get them back again
Back again
Oh oh oh
It's OK
But I won't ? again
Let's hit it away
Why don't we think and play
I know inside
I'll get them back again
Back again
Oh oh oh
It's OK
If you don't like the words I say
Throw them away
But sing it just the same
I know inside

I'll get them back again
Back again

I saw this on MTV when I was just a girl of 12. I couldn't get the song out of my head. I'm 53 now and still love them. They did some truly remarkable music. I was heartbroken when we lost Mark Hollis. That unique voice, his mischievous twinkle, lol. He is missed.

This amazing singer is Mark Hollis. Born in the UK in 1955, he died in 2019, only 64 years old. What a pity this talent is no more among us. I became a huge fan of Talk-Talk in 1982. Great melodies compounded by super-cool beat was mesmerizing. I will forever cherish Mark's beautiful smile and the music he created. This band was not underrated by me.
