Por esa ingrata mujer
Ella no lo ha de saber
Mejor prefiero morir
Bien sé que se ha de burlar
De mi cariño profundo
Porqué saben en el mundo
Ah, yo no sé por qué la quiero
Ah, yo no sé por qué será
Tanto sufrir, tanto llorar
Me fui a la orilla del mar
Why las olas me decían
Que tú ya no me querías
Que dejara de llorar
Que de todo mi querer
Tú ya te habías olvidado
Que ya tú te habías marchado
Para nunca más volver
Ah, yo no sé por qué la quiero
Ah, yo no sé por qué será
Tanto sufrir, tanto llorar
The lyrics of Tamara's song "Inconsolable" are about unrequited love and the pain that it causes. The singer is lamenting her love for a woman who does not appreciate it and may even be mocking her for it. The singer talks about how much she has suffered for this woman, and rather than let her know how much she loves her, the singer would rather die. She knows that this woman will never reciprocate her feelings, and the singer is destined to be alone.
In the second verse, the singer goes to the shore of the sea, and the waves seem to mock her about her broken heart. The sea reminds the singer that she has been forgotten by the woman she loves and that she will never return. The singer is in agony, wondering why she loves this woman so much despite the pain that comes with it.
Overall, the song is a sorrowful tale of love unrequited, where the singer is left mourning and inconsolable. It shows the raw emotions of heartbreak and the struggles of trying to come to terms with a love that is unattainable.
