1) Tamia Washington-Hill (born May 9, 1975 in Windsor, Ontario) is a Canadian R&B singer. She is noted for her spinto mezzo-soprano, a rangy three octaves, capable of both dark contralto depths and angelic soprano highs. Tamia has released numerous albums since her discovery by Quincy Jones in 1995, at the age of 19. Her first three albums, 1998's Tamia, 2000's A Nu Day, and 2004's More, all achieved moderate success on R&B charts and urban radio, but failed to achieve mainstream success.
As a result of the disappointing performances of her albums, Tamia split from her label and released her next record, Between Friends, independently. She has been married to the NBA basketball player Grant Hill since 1999, with whom she has two children.
2) Tamia is an experimental/avant-garde vocalist who has collaborated with Pierre Favre.

'Cause I'mma make you dance (uh huh)
All I want is for you to use your imagination
(Come on, come on)
That's all
Come on (come on)
What makes us do
That keeps me lovin' you, imagination
And when you're in need
And got nobody
Imagination sets you free, free
Everything you want is real close when you close your eyes
And the things you think about the most
They come to life (come to life)
When your relationship is headed for the rocks
Gotta use your imagination to get you back on top
What makes us do
The things we do?
That keeps me lovin' you, imagination
And when you're in need
And got nobody
Imagination sets you free, free
It's the place you look when you want to have some fun
When you see it, say it, before it's done, uh huh
Imagine you and me, and how it would feel
Exploring new ideas
And what's gon' keep this lovin' real
When you get lonely (lonely)
It'll make you get to a phone
And tell me how much you want me
And when you have a bad day
A little bit of imagination goes a long way
Uh, true buff player, that's the chi-chi
Wanna get up out the store, you'll need to see me
Now I got you wondering what's behind the slouch
If you get too close will you get turned out?
No doubt, it won't be the same if I hit it
'Cause you always gon' want it the way I did it
I'mma keep you fresh, make sure you stay kitted
See once I got it, can't nobody else get it
From the bottom to the top
'Till you say stop
You and me, wit the freak cuz I'mma great drop
I kiss everything, I don't miss a spot
Stuff you ain't never seen from the man you got
I ain't hatin', my imagination's just more advanced
So when you wanna dance, I'mma make you dance
Tamia, I see ya, I'm still waiting
You make me wanna, leave that to your imagination, yeah, yeah
What makes us do
The things we do?
That keeps me lovin' you, imagination
And when you're in need
And got nobody
Imagination sets you free, free
What makes us do
The things we do?
That keeps me lovin' you, imagination
And when you're in need
And got nobody
Imagination sets you free, free
What makes us do
The things we do?
That keeps me lovin' you, imagination
And when you're in need
And got nobody
Imagination sets you free, free
The song "Imagination" by Tamia is all about the power of one's imagination in relationships. Tamia urges her listeners to let their imaginations run wild and to use it to keep their relationships strong. In the first verse, Tamia says that she wants everyone to dance and she will make them do so. She then emphasizes that all that is needed is one's imagination. Imagining brings one closer to everything they desire. Tamia believes that imagining can create a world of possibility that is not limited by anything.
Tamia then goes on to explain that when everything seems to go awry, one's imagination can be a saving grace. It can help to salvage any situation, no matter how bad it may seem. Imagination can help one to see beyond the negative aspects of a relationship and help them to focus on the possibilities. Tamia reminds her listeners that they can achieve happiness if they dare to dream and use their imagination.
The song's chorus emphasizes the importance of imagination in love and happiness. Tamia believes that it can be the key to unlocking one's heart and bringing joy to their lives. The power of imagination can free one's soul and bring them closer to the love of their life. Therefore, Tamia tells listeners to cultivate and use their imagination to enrich their relationships.
