Coming back here after all these years. Still an unmatched song!! ❤

@mythillogic

This is one of the best songs I have heard in years. The instruments are great; the voices are amazing. Very nice video too.

@kaiantipas6364

I’ve been looking for this for so long. I heard it when I was much younger, and then I couldn’t find it.

@gluckfreedem8000

I have see them singing at the Jazz Festival in Lugano, Switzerland.
I'm wondring if they still singing. So many years past by.

@lydiatasha7798

Still love this song 🤩🤩 2021 !!!

@clarinervium

I'm Indonesian and this is an interesting documentation.. even though I don't understand malagasy language, they still sounds familiar and I found many similar words with bahasa. Well.. It's nice to know there's Lontong in Madagascar which is my favourite! :D

@rakotomalalaharymampionona7115

clarinervium hy! I'm malagasy people, and it's so normal that pur language has a big similar, because our ancestors are from Indonesia and Malaysia, especially the Malagasy people from the capital city. I was at Indonesia ( Jakarta and Bali) on 2008, and i saw that our languages have a big similar :) :)

@paris5410

Malagasy is an Austronesian language, like Indonesian, so since they are in the same language family they have some similarities.

@earlakakafleader2216

Malagasy vocabulary is about 80% austronesian, mainly from indonesian languages.

Dont mistake malagasy people for pure Indonesians tho. If the artist went to our neighbouring african countries instead, she'd had noticed equal amount of similarities with our culture ; most malagasy's favorite meal for example, ravitoto, which is commonly eaten there (just as koba somewhere in sulawesi).
Personally id love to taste rendang beef someday, its looks really good nd we dont have that in Madagascar :D

@travelwithyourears7528

Loving it and sharing it...will feature it on my website...had the pleasure to see them during a WOMEX in the late 90s and meet during a preview to the 2003 Rainforest World Music Festival, great group!
