Silent Night
Taylor Swift Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Silent night, holy night
All is calm and all is bright
Round young virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing hallelujah
Christ the savior is born
Christ our savior is born

Silent night, holy night
Son of God
Love's pure light
Radiant beams from thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus Lord at thy birth
Jesus Lord at thy birth

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

Christ the savior is born

I am a forty-two year old, lifelong atheist and I am not ashamed to admit this my made heart wrench. Sometimes I imagine it would be nice to have a faith, if only to be in the company of such wonderful people.

Henry Victor I'd recommend reading the book The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. It was written by a former atheist who was a journalist intending to write a book disproving Christianity but the evidence was so compelling that he converted. 😊 just a suggestion, not trying to force my religion on you

I agree, I was raied Christaian and tryed to tell myself it was fake but just couldnt

God is our creator, father, and saviour. Jesus died for our sin on the cross, all we need to do is to receive his grace by faith, and our sin will be forgiven.
