Sombre, beau et racé, Tazieff défend son premier album sur la route, ils ouvrent notamment pour Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth) au festival BBMIX puis jouent au festival Chorus. Tazieff trouve rapidement son public séduit par des titres comme lnescapable, Multiply et l'implacable single The Line.

En 2018, arrivé au terme d'un cycle, Tazieff repart en studio avec l'envie de se recréer. Laissant libre court aux expérimentations et à leurs influences les plus pop, les 3 artistes sont davantage portés sur les textures, la pertinence des sonorités, l'instant, juste balance entre la force de leurs guitares et la variété des ambiances.

A l'écoute de ce premier EP enregistré et mixé par Léonard Mule au Poisson Barbu à la Goutte D'Or (Paris), on retrouve intact l'ADN de Tazieff, mais aussi des références à des groupes comme Wild Beasts, Television, Tropical Fuck Storm, ou The National.

Porté par Kubik, le premier single du prochain EP (sortie en avril sur Differ-Ant), Tazieff revient éclectique et vivant.
