Team Me made their concert debut in Trondheim the 22nd of January 2010, after they have found themselves been picked out to UrΓΈrtfinalen, at a yearly competition for up and coming Norwegian bands held by NRK UrΓΈrt, which is a part of The Norwegian Broadcasting channel P3. Team Me was not an existing band at this stage, but the bands founder and songwriter Marius DrogsΓ₯s Hagen gathered some friends in short time, and attended the finals to play a 30 minute set among bands like Kvelertak, Blood Command and The Pink Robots. The Pink Robots won and Kvelertak came in second, nevertheless Team Me gained attention for their finalist song "Fool", which immediately got playlisted at Norwegian radio stations.
In the following months, the bands songs "Fool" and "Weathervanes and Chemicals" started to get spread around on blogs all across the world, and the band kept playing shows in Norway, including summerfestivals as Γyafestivalen, Pstereo and Volumfestivalen in Norway the summer of 2010. In an article of the UK magazine Drowned In Sound, several UK music industry pointed out Team Me as one of the most interesting new bands in Norway at the time, and the band was one of the first to be announced to both By:larm 2011 and The Great Escape 2011. During 2011 "Me and the Mountain" was featured in the trailer to Liberal Arts a film by Josh Radnor.
In the winter of 2011 Team Me announced that they had signed with Norwegian label Propeller Recordings, and an EP was released in the months to follow. The song "Dear Sister" from the EP got playlisted both in Norway, Europe, UK and the US.

The band sold out 5 of 10 shows at their release tour in Norway, followed up by another tour the winter of 2012, including a sold out show at Rockefeller in Oslo, selling 1300 tickets. Show me how it's done
This tired face too pale
These tired feet don't know where they are headed
Show me
Show me how it's done
This troubled mind needs rest
I'm playing with a dangerous flame again
And I'm happy as I can be when you are gone
I'm playing with a dangerous flame again
And I'm happy as I can be when you are gone, gone, gone, gone
Show me
Show me how it's done
This tired face too pale
These tired feet don't know where they are headed
Show me
Show me how it's done
Invisible wars
You and I still acting like we're strangers
I'm playing with a dangerous flame again
I think I'm happy as I can be when you are gone
I'm playing with a dangerous flame again
And I'm happy as I can be when you are gone
I'm playing with a dangerous flame again
And I'm happy as I can be when you are gone, gone, gone, gone
The lyrics of Team Meβs song βShow Meβ describe the struggles of a tired, troubled mind and heart that are lost and in need of direction. The singer of the song pleads for guidance and asks someone to βshow me how itβs done.β This request hints at a sense of insecurity and indecision, suggesting that the singer may not know how to address their current problems. The tired face, feet, and mind are all metaphorical representations of a person who is mentally and emotionally exhausted, unsure of where to go and what to do.
The repetition of the chorus throughout the song emphasizes the desperation that the singer is feeling, as they are hoping to find answers to their problems. When the singer says, βIβm playing with a dangerous flame again / And Iβm happy as I can be when you are gone,β there is a sense of internal conflict. Perhaps the singer is aware that they are engaging in behavior that is potentially hazardous, but they find comfort in the distraction from their troubles. The line βinvisible wars / You and I still acting like we're strangersβ suggests that the singer is in a relationship that is not fulfilling their needs, but they continue to maintain the status quo.
Overall, βShow Meβ is a powerful song that explores themes of uncertainty, desperation, and the need for guidance. The lyrics are emotive and raw, and the use of metaphors creates a poignant and relatable depiction of the struggles that many people face.
