He's responsible for a diverse collection of downtempo, breakbeat, and techno gems. LaBo's creations have a trademark ambient quality, always underpinned by lurking, ominous bass rhythms and filtered, phased-out sounds, always in motion. This is the sound of one man and his machines in the twilight between a clear, sunny day and an all-night techno party. An XLR8R magazine review of the debut Technicolor album, One Touch Test Strip, contained this now-famous quote: "I like this album, if only for its complete lack of adherence to 'dance music' stylings. Purists beware, music lovers recommended."
Justin LaBo has also played in the bands Current, Ottawa, and Film School.
This is not the Finnish band, which is spelled Technicolour. The tag "finnish" should be removed. Technicolor is from Detroit, MI, according to the facebook page.

His Majesty The Professor
Logo: We see soundboard circles on a transparent thunder background zooming in. The petals from before then zoom out at the same background, spin turning to the left and back to the right with supernova trails. The text "TECHNICOLOR" appears, when the petals' shadows "explode". All the logo then flashes, and when the petals flash, the shadow of the circle draws, with a line on it's backfront. The text "by THOMSON " appears in the final result.
FX/SFX: Everything in this logo. It looks like a double rainbow.
Music/Sounds: A droning synth, Then a soft, synthetized fanfare with 2 notes and whooshes on it's details.
Availability: Very common. Seen on their film distributions of the time.
Scare Factor: Medium. The whooshes, the dark background and the in-your-face begginning may startle some first-time viewers, but otherwise it's harmless.

A mellow fanfare starting with a droning synth, accompanied by thunderclaps, a choir, a spinning sound and a shimmer at the end.

This logo is pretty awesome! Especially all the effects.

I prefer the one at the end of Star Wars I VHS, though this is much more colorful, not to mention that it sounds faintly as if this was a #skywalkersound project, but I'm not sure. Where'd you find this?
