Fly Away
TeddyLoid Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
You are... You are...
You are... You are...
Fly away... Fly away... Fly away...
Fly away... Fly away... Fly away...
Heart stood still, when we first met.
I thought we'd be together, yet.
You're using me, for your own gain.
And now I never feel the same.
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
You'll never find, a better time.
Make your stand, you'll be fine.
Know the game, and all it holds.
Watch it now, as it unfolds.
You are... You are...
You are... You are...
Fly away... Fly away... Fly away...
Fly away... Fly away... Fly away...
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
You'll never find, a better time.
Make your stand, you'll be fine.
Know the game, and all it holds.
Watch it now, as it unfolds.
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
Fly away, now. Fly away, now. Fly away.
You'll never find, a better time.
Make your stand, you'll be fine.
Know the game, and all it holds.
Watch it now, as it unfolds.
Fly away!
The lyrics to TeddyLoid's song "Fly Away" appear to be a message about leaving behind a toxic relationship and moving on to something better. The repeated phrase "Fly away, now" emphasizes the urgency and importance of the message. The singer reflects on the initial excitement of meeting someone (presumably a romantic interest) but ultimately realizes that the other person is only using them. The line "And now I never feel the same" suggests a sense of betrayal and loss, but the overall message is one of empowerment: the singer encourages the listener to "make your stand" and "know the game" in order to move on to something better.
The repeated phrase "You are..." suggests that the other person is being directly addressed, perhaps as a way of emphasizing their mistakes or faults. The line "Watch it now, as it unfolds" may indicate a sense of caution, as if the singer is warning the other person that their actions will have consequences.
As a whole, the lyrics of "Fly Away" suggest a sense of frustration with a toxic relationship and a desire for something better. The repeated refrain of "Fly away, now" emphasizes the singer's determination to move on and find something better, while the lines "Make your stand, you'll be fine" and "Know the game, and all it holds" suggest that the key to finding happiness is to understand the complexities of relationships and make smart choices based on that knowledge.
