Teicher was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Colombian parents. After spending her childhood in Bogotรก, her family later moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, and afterwards moved to New York City.
