This music (called Folia) is a traditional music of Spain from Renaissance period. Many composers have made variations (Vivaldi, Salieri, Lully...even Bach). The best modern version is from the catalan composer Jordi Savall. I suggest you listen to it.

We've never been richer than when loosing them. As Portugal.
Imagine how much sacrifices our nations and people endured to build them, 1/5th of the Portuguese population just disappeared for Brazil and other places. And Portugal came to the 20th century as a third world country.
