Regarding falling down in the Spirit, yes this has happened to me many times & is obviously a very different thing. No uncontrollable jerking movements. Even the speaking in tongues is gibberish that’s being spoken. Speaking in tongues is speaking in a different earthly language and not in a heavenly language. He spoke one language that wasn’t understood and he had a translator that interpreted to the audience. So if the speaker spoke in English and the audience understood Spanish, a Spanish translator would be needed. That is speaking in tongues. Not the gibberish you hear today. I was raised in a church like this. I'm so glad I got to know God for who He is. Dancing before God isn't a "pick'em up and put'em" down type of situation. It's an intimate moment with God and an act of worship. It sucks that churches like this often miss what it means to really know God, have a relationship with Him and experience the beauty of His Holiness. Worshiping in Spirit and in Truth reveals who He is and positions your soul to align with Him better. It's a SPIRITUAL experience, not a show.

Starkey Roberson, as you said Spirit and Truth. A lot of people love to worship Him in what they call the Spirit but they don’t want the Truth and they will reject His truth.
The Truth is what sets us free from religion, and we will desire to have that personal intimate relationship with Him. We have to ask Him to remove the blinders and the layers of false teaching that we’ve been feed for years.
Most importantly spend quiet time with Him in His Word, in prayer and meditation to get to know Him.
I’m so grateful as well that He called me out of a similar situation and that He blessed me with a teachable spirit.
We should ask Him daily for wisdom and discernment so we can clearly hear when someone is distorting His Word.

Praying for love, compassion and mercy for all that are called by His Name! ❤❤
