Besides Chris, the original lineup included Jens Gärtner who provided the drums and loops. In 1997, Manuel Selling was added to the lineup to provide the guitars. In 2000, Manuel left the band and Gordon Mocznay took over on guitar and bass guitar. A year later in 2001, Louis Manke joined the band as well, adding a second guitar to the band.
Terminal Choice was Chris Pohl's main and most well-known project, and they have enjoyed great success both in Germany and abroad, and are often compared to and sometimes referred to as a precursor to another popular German industrial-stomp band, Rammstein. The success of Terminal Choice has also transferred to the other members of Terminal Choice, as Chris helped Gordon form his own band known as Mordorn and also helped Louis form a band named Staubkind. Despite being involved with numerous bands, all members are still creating music with Terminal Choice and an album with the title "New Born Enemies" was released on the 28th of July, in 2006.
Terminal Choice released their last CD Übermacht in 2010.

I'm growing stronger and I don't hide from you anymore
You can't impress me with your so called social attitude
You cannot solve the problem so no one can trust in you
There's nothing in this world that I'm afraid of anymore
I'm growing stronger and I don't hide from you anymore
This is the time I rise again
And I feel stronger than before
I will fight against the law
I break the rules just give me more
I cannot stand false prophecies
Your whole system is a lie
I want to go down in history
And I will fight until I die
Are you telling me that one guy came in here and killed eight men with eight extremely well aimed shots in just a few seconds.
Fuck
You guys could do this every god damned day
There's nothing in this world that I'm afraid of anymore
I'm growing stronger and I don't hide from you anymore
You can't impress me with your so called social attitude
You cannot solve the problem so no one can trust in you
There's nothing in this world that I'm afraid of anymore
I'm growing stronger and I don't hide from you anymore
This is the time I rise again
And I feel stronger than before
I will fight against the law
I break the rules just give me more
I cannot stand false prophecies
Your whole system is a lie
I want to go down in history
And I will fight until I die
This is the time I rise again
And I feel stronger than before
I will fight against the law
I break the rules just give me more
The lyrics to Terminal Choice's "Fight the System" express a message of defiance and empowerment against societal norms and authority figures. The singer declares that they are no longer afraid of the world, and that they have grown stronger and more self-assured. They reject the idea of a "social attitude" that is impressed upon them, and see authority figures as unreliable solutions to problems. The singer wants to challenge the system and make a name for themselves, even if it means breaking the rules and being remembered as a historical figure.
The repeated lines of the chorus, "This is the time I rise again / And I feel stronger than before / I will fight against the law / I break the rules just give me more," emphasize the singer's determination to stand up for themselves and challenge authority. The inclusion of a quote from a conversation about a mass shooting highlights the violent potential of this kind of rebellion, and suggests that the singer is willing to take drastic measures to achieve their goals.
Overall, "Fight the System" presents a message of individualism, rebellion, and self-determination, rejecting societal norms and challenging authority figures. It is a rallying cry for those who feel oppressed or ignored by the system, encouraging them to take action and make a name for themselves.
