Besides Chris, the original lineup included Jens Gärtner who provided the drums and loops. In 1997, Manuel Selling was added to the lineup to provide the guitars. In 2000, Manuel left the band and Gordon Mocznay took over on guitar and bass guitar. A year later in 2001, Louis Manke joined the band as well, adding a second guitar to the band.
Terminal Choice was Chris Pohl's main and most well-known project, and they have enjoyed great success both in Germany and abroad, and are often compared to and sometimes referred to as a precursor to another popular German industrial-stomp band, Rammstein. The success of Terminal Choice has also transferred to the other members of Terminal Choice, as Chris helped Gordon form his own band known as Mordorn and also helped Louis form a band named Staubkind. Despite being involved with numerous bands, all members are still creating music with Terminal Choice and an album with the title "New Born Enemies" was released on the 28th of July, in 2006.
Terminal Choice released their last CD Übermacht in 2010.

Everybody knows your face
They know everything about you
But you are not so cool
And you are not so pretty
This is even not your picture
You're a myspace hero
You're a myspace hero
But you have no friends in the real world
You feel so fucking lonely
outside your virtual world
And you can't remember
how it feels to touch a girl
But you have to face reality
There's a world outside your room
Please just press the
Be a part of the story called life
The above lyrics from Terminal Choice's song 'Myspace Hero' explore the theme of the loneliness and the inauthenticity that comes with idealizing and curating an artificial online personality. The lyrics suggest that the singer of the song may have many online friends and followers who think they know everything about them, but in reality, they are not as cool or pretty as they seem, and the profile picture may not even resemble their real-life appearance. Despite their apparent social status in the digital world, they are completely friendless and disconnected from the real world.
The chorus repeats the phrase 'You're a myspace hero, but you have no friends in the real world,' which further emphasizes the hollowness and lack of validation the singer feels in their digital persona. The bridge of the song suggests they are missing out on genuine human connection and interaction, and that they need to step outside and be a part of the 'story called life.'
Overall, the lyrics of 'Myspace Hero' explore the emptiness that can come with heavily curating one's online presence and the need for genuine human interaction and connection.
