I just got this new armor, and I love it. the particle effects and health regen are awesome, you forgot to mention that when you get damaged, the particles enters your body and the healing speeds up slowly, until you regen 10hp per second. I think it is a deadpool type/inspired armor.

Remember that is an Special Armour set so helmet gives you a lot more defense like 15 defense like Armour in console

Same defense rating, but the set bonus is different: Shadow Scale Armor would give 15% movement speed increase ;) (Or is it 21%? I'm not sure at this point.)

The set bonus says it's a life regen in the video. The set bonus does nothing to change the defense.
