Vuela Tu Cabeza
Terroristars Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Terremoto Cerebral
Corrosivo Hasta el final!
Enfrentamiento, riesgo fanatico,
mano armada sin respuesta
Destruyendo que!?
Algo viejo para construir algo nuevo
Vuela tu cabeza y ya sonries...
The first verse of Terroristars’ “Vuela Tu Cabeza” speaks of pushing oneself to the limit, challenging the infinite and risking everything until there is nothing left. The metaphor of standing on a precipice and defying gravity with a triple somersault illustrates the idea of taking risks with abandon. The phrase “prisionero de la inercia” (prisoner of inertia) speaks to a sense of being stuck, trapped by circumstances, but the image of a roulette wheel turning, with a cradle of thorns swaying back and forth, demonstrates a sense of fate or destiny – that something beyond us is in control. The line “se columpia el bien y el mal” (good and evil swing) describes the contrast between the two and how they balance each other out.
The second verse describes someone who is a victim of their own hope, someone who executes the void and is always full of their own truth. It speaks to a sense of righteousness, of knowing one’s own beliefs and holding on to them, regardless of the cost. The lines “especulando en equilbrio, terremoto cerebral, corrosivo hasta el final” depict the dangerous combination of thought and action, suggesting a person who is always considering what to do next, always in motion, with consequences that don’t matter because they won’t be around to deal with them. The final lines of the song, “destuyendo que!? algo viejo para construir algo nuevo” (destroying what!? something old to build something new) provides a fitting conclusion to the overall theme of the song, which is about taking risks, pushing oneself to the brink and creating new beginnings.
