Love is still alive in your eyes
dreamin' on again
dreamin' on, dreamin' on
dreamin' on again
Movin' on movin' on
movin' on again
Movin' on movin' on
movin' on again
Time is gone behind victories
I'm dreamin' on, dreamin' on
dreamin' on again
dreamin' on, dreamin' on
dreamin' on again
Movin' on movin' on
movin' on again
Movin' on movin' on
movin' on again
(We have known them all)
(Goin' on)
I'll be There(We'll be there)
I'm dreamin' on, dreamin' on
dreamin' on again
dreamin' on, dreamin' on
dreamin' on again
Movin' on movin' on
movin' on again
Movin' on movin' on
movin' on again
Dreamin' on, dreamin' on
dreamin' on again
Dreamin' on, dreamin' on
dreamin' on again
Movin' on movin' on
movin' on again
Movin' on movin' on
movin' on again
The lyrics of Tetsuya Komuro's song "Carry On" convey a sense of hope, perseverance, and the power of love. The song begins by reflecting on the passing of time and how memories fade away. However, the cold wind seems to bring some relief to the singer, suggesting that time heals wounds. The lyrics then express that love is still alive in someone's eyes, as indicated by their smiling face when walking alongside others. This implies that love has the ability to bring joy and warmth back into one's life.
The chorus emphasizes the idea of dreaming on, repeating the phrase multiple times to emphasize the importance of dreaming and never giving up. The lyrics mention the light shining through the gaps of an old building, symbolizing the arrival of a new beginning or a turning point in life. The song encourages moving on and cherishing both victories and the challenges faced, suggesting that they shape who we are.
The bridge of the song brings up the notion that kindness alone is not sufficient to protect certain things and that some things cannot be overcome alone. It mentions the act of holding hands and returning the grasp, implying a commitment to support and be there for each other.
Overall, "Carry On" encourages embracing change, cherishing love, and continuing to dream and move forward despite life's challenges.
